    Hi Desiretruth,

    It seems you must be led by sight, and understanding must go before faith.
    You have yet to be buried with Christ that you may be raised with him
    You do have those choices and you are welcome to make them.
    But you will not be satisfied till others join your mission it seems.

    @Gene,

    Either I am not explaining it properly or you are intentionally ignoring/rejecting what is being said.

    You: “no where in the Old Testament doe it say Jesus would be in the Grave three days and three nights”

    Me: Exactly!! YET, Paul said this was “according to scripture.” If this is “according to scripture”, the only “scripture”…[Read more]

    Desire Truth…….no where in the Old Testament doe it say Jesus would be in the Grave three days and thre nights,   Jesus know that so he himself compared his time in the Grave to Jonah,  and revealed it to them before it happened.  Where did Paul say that Jesus was prophesied to be in the Grave three days and three nights at?  But there are many sc…[Read more]

    @Proclaimer,

    Everyone seems to forget, I was on the same page (few exceptions) with most posting here. In fact was encouraged in my writings by some. Then about two months ago I came across the I Cor 15:3,4 verse; but didn’t gloss over it this time and everything was overturned…AGAIN! I have been “given” passages that are said to be poi…[Read more]

    You say

    “ Authentic conversion influences hereditary and acquired propensities for evil”

    WOW.

    intellectual nonsense filled with long impressive words from theologians.

    Spare me..

    Men have their own ideas about religion, but is God involved now in their activities?

    Or have they wandered far from the plan He set out?

    Human religion is uselessness at best.

    It happened while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul passed through the upper country and came to Ephesus, and found some disciples. He said to them,

    “Did you receive the Holy Spirit when you believed?”

    And they said to him,

    ”No , we have not even heard whether there is a Holy Spirit”

    And he said,

    “Into what then were you baptised.…[Read more]

    Hi to all

    Here is the Daily Devotional

    MEANING OF THE CONVERSION

    If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature. (1 Corinthians 10:12)

    The old nature, born of blood and the will of the flesh, cannot inherit the kingdom of God. We must renounce old paths, hereditary tendencies, old habits, because grace cannot be inherited. The new birth…[Read more]

    Accepting Jesus as your Savior and Lord and giving yourself to him is the response of what he has done for all mankind, and the result of the work of the Holy Spirit in the heart to bring us to God.

    “THOSE WHO ACCEPT THE SAVIOUR…..”

    “ WHEN WE GIVE OURSELVES TO JESUS””

    In what way do these decisions play a part in salvation?

    @Danny,

    What is the point of your statement?

    The definition of deceive is “to cause to accept as true or valid what is false or invalid.” Please do tell me where or what I have said that caused you to accept what is false or invalid. To be “deceived”, one must accept; so your example of types of “deceivers” makes no sense.

    Nowhere have I denied…[Read more]

    Did you really read the last daily Devotional?
    If so, does he talk about what you are telling me?
    is there a false teaching?

  • Profile picture of Nick

    How about some false gospels

    INVITE JESUS INTO YOUR HEART

    INVITE JESUS TO BE YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.

    GIVE YOUR LIFE TO JESUS

    BELIEVE AND YOU ARE SAVED

    STRIVE AND SAVE YOURSELF.

    etc

    You

    Accepting Jesus as saviour “ never saved anyone and striving has never improved your relationship with God. Religious claptrap.
    Back to basics.

    Me

    When you make remarks such as above, quote the relevant passages that I posted because so far I find that it is not justified….

    @desiretruth

    There are two kind of deceivers:
    One denies Jehovah God.
    The other denies His Son Jesus Christ.
    I think you know that, don’t you?

  • Profile picture of GeneBalthrop

    Nick……Lots of truth in your last post, it’s to bad most don’t understand that.  They think Jesus did it all for them, and just believing in him saves them.  They don’t understand we must live as Jesus lived by the anointing Spirit of God. That is what Jesus meant when he said we must eat (take to ourselves) his flesh and drink (take to ourselves)…[Read more]

    SALVATION, A DAILY EXPERIENCE

    Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing, beware of falling! (1 Corinthians 10:12)

    Peter’s fall was not instantaneous, but gradual. His presumption led him to believe he was saved and, little by little, to deny his Master. We should never trust ourselves or think that we…[Read more]
