DavidL, the Trinity Doctrine is so preposterous that it contradicts the most basic and simple truths in scripture and causes much confusion and unnecessary division.
The Holy Spirit came to Mary instead of Joseph. Thus is the Holy Spirit the Father of Jesus, or is the Father? Explain that one with your confusing dogma.
John 15:26

And yet they are obviously Both seen in Scripture as separate to the Father..!!
It’s so simple really if you stop bashing your head around…
The Three are One – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit..
You cannot have One without the Other Two… a Unit of Three or – ‘Tri-Unity’

DavidL, for as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself. The son is begotten of God, the spirit proceeds from God who is the Father
Try to think of the sun and the rays of the sun. The rays can be here on Earth while the Sun is up in the heavens. However, if the sun was able to begat something like the Earth, it is no longer the sun, but a planet.
Jesus is clearly the son of God. The Spirit is the spirit of the Father.
There is the Father and Son. Knowing them is eternal life.
Do you not yet know the Father and the Son
in the One Holy Spirit?Maybe it’s time you answer your own question..

The essence of God is that he cannot bet tempted by evil. Jesus does not have the essence because he was tempted by sin even as it common to the rest of humanity.
If you do not believe what I wrote then you do not believe the word that comes out of God’s mouth.
If you believe them then you do not believe Jesus Christ has the essence of God.The essence of God is that he knows all things. Jesus does not have that essence because he confessed he did not know the day or the hour of his second coming.
If you do not believe these things then you do not believe the word that God utters.
If you believe them then you do not believe Jesus the Son of Man has the essence of God.So why have you sided with the unbelievers.

In any case your whole premise is wrong –
He is not the Father – but One with the Father..
thus He is God through Unity – Tri-Unity.
A husband’s knowledge apart from the wife does not change the fact of their oneness or unity…

Neither is Christ Jesus who in the Spirit is united with God.
