    AndrewAD,

    I am not foolish enough to claim God was tempted by sin even as we are. There is no one who sincerely believes in the one true God that will believe he is tempted by sin even as we are.

    Some of those who claim Jesus is the one true God deny Jesus was tempted by sin even as we are and in doing so they deny the Son in order not to blaspheme God.

    But Kerwin did God create sin? is he the author of sin? doth he not create both evil and good? if so then is he tempted by his own thoughts? but being God it’s just whatever he wants right? no temptation involved.

    Scripture is designed so that only those reborn from above can understand it

    They alone can see the kingdom.Jn3

    I agree as for example those that believe in the one true and Jesus Christ will not believe God was tempted by Satan in the desert but will believe Jesus was tempted by sin even as we are.

    But perhaps God in his mercy became man for your sake? and you do spite to the spirit of grace? he became thy way of escape but this you reject? and seek thine own righteousness of the law?

    Was God in heaven if this was true?

    Jesus Christ, the one you say is God, told us to pray to God in heaven.

    God is not the author of sin as being so is against his nature. He allows sin to exist and because his intelligence he is able to use it to advance righteousness. Satan is the author of sin as he is the first rebel against righteousness.

    the NIV has nothing to do with it,I never even look at that translation.It’s clear in any translation except maybe the one you’ve conjured up in your own mind.

    So God was in heaven but so was the Christ of St.John and this Christ even said we can pray to him.

    Hi Andrew,

    The LORD in the OT is the Lord God.

    The Lord of hosts is exclusively the Lord God.

     

    Are you suggesting a man had his own heavenly throne and angels?

    Andrew,

    Scripture tells me that an angel cannot save me by sacrificing himself on the cross for me and yet according God whom is greater than them did. The only way we are saved is that one of us lived by Spirit, even to the point of death. In doing so he showed that there is salvation for human beings. He did not reveal to God whom already knew but to those that would follow Jesus on the path of righteousness he walked and the angels that would give glory to God for rescuing us.

    But when Jesus walked the earth why would he suggest praying to God in heaven if he was that God?

    God is not the author of sin? then why was Jesus crucified in God’s mind before the foundation of the world? Did not God know what he was doing when he created our world and mankind? or did he just devise as time went along kind of like we do?

    Hi Andrew,

    Indeed.

    The Word served God.

    The Word was made flesh and dwelt amongst us.

    We can follow Jesus to be blessed too by baptism in water and the Spirit.

    Kerwin,by your own words my friend you betray yourself in showing your utter confusion.

    One of us had to live by the spirit to show the way to salvation? to show the angels who will give glory to God for rescuing us?

    Oh please explain this in Greek for it to make more sense.

    AndrewAD,

    When you live by the Spirit of God it is impossible to sin because sin is the works of the flesh and the two do not mix.

    God did not create evil but he does create evil times and events.

    The wise man by the name of Job tells us “What? shall we receive good at the hand of God, and shall we not receive evil?”

    Job is not saying God sins but rather that the bad times Satan brought on him and his wife came by God and he is correct as Satan had to get God’s permission to do one sinful deed of which Job was the victim.
