What Trump really represents

Trump and Bible

The reaction, resistance, and rejection of Trump does make you wonder why is he treated so differently to his predecessors?

It seems that globalists, atheists, feminists, islamists, communists, socialists, and leftists, all want him gone. And no surprises that all these ‘ists’ just happen to be anti-God. They seem to be working together against Trump even though many of these groups hate each other and have conflicting ideals. It seems for them, getting rid of the true God from America is more important than the disputes they have with each other. We have even seen feminists wear hijabs in some of their protest marches. They would rather support the most anti-woman ideology on the planet and work with this enemy only because they both have a common enemy, the true God of the Bible.

If this collection of disparate peoples succeed in removing Trump from power, then my guess is America as we know it is finished. Trump seems like the last stand. If he does remain standing however, America could return to the powerful and faithful nation it has been in the past. This is by no means saying that America is 100% godly, rather that the nation has godly principles enshrined in their constitution and many citizens believe and follow God. There is a reason America has been blessed in the past and it is no coincidence that America became the most powerful and one of the most livable countries in the world.

America has two choices, reject God leading to America’s downfall and following greater persecution of those who keep the commandments of God, or trust God and bring America back to prosperity.

It’s not the geographical setting that matters here, but rather 👉the interpretation of a symbol

In the Hebrew Bible the term “the Great Sea” was a common name for the Mediterranean. For example, in Numbers 34:6, Joshua 1:4, and Ezekiel 47:10, the same phrase clearly refers to the Mediterranean coastline west of Israel. So geographically, the phrase naturally points to that sea.

    Daniel 7:2–3
Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.
And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

    @genebalthrop
you guys would have us believe that all the empires were from this geographical area except for the USA?

Whether Daniel saw the Mediterranean or not changes nothing in the prophecy.
The great sea, also in Revelation 13
] And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.

And also in Revelation 17 expressed in a different way

And there came one of the seven angels who had the seven vials, and talked with me, saying unto me, Come hither; I will show unto thee the judgment of the great whore that 👉sitth upon many waters:

And of course, the great sea, the sea, many waters are the symbol of something, and this is revealed to us at the end of Chapter 17

15] And he saith unto me, 👉The waters which thou sawest, 👉where the whore sitth👈
👉, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.👈

a beast rise up out of the sea,
means that the extent of its territory is a very populated territory.

This was the case when Papal Rome arose in nascent Europe, after the fall of the Roman Empire.

Now, if you look at Revelation 13:11-18,
the beast that arose after the beast from the sea,
it is written: LET IT RISE FROM THE EARTH:

11] And I beheld another beast coming up 👉out of the earth👈; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spoke like a dragon.

Unlike the beast that rose from the sea, THE BEAST THAT RISE FROM THE EARTH ARISED IN A SPARELY POPULATED TERRITORY.
THIS IS EXACTLY THE CASE OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA IN 1776.

I disagree with your denominations teaching about this. Here is part of the reason.

Daniel states that his vision occurred while he was in the Babylon during the reign of Belshazzar (Daniel 7:1).

Babylon was located deep inland in Mesopotamia, hundreds of kilometres from the sea.

For someone in Babylon, there was essentially only one “great sea” in the known world to the west. That was the Mediterranean Sea.

The Persian Gulf existed to the south, but it was usually called simply “the sea” or “the lower sea”, not “the Great Sea” in Hebrew geography.

In the Hebrew worldview the Mediterranean marked the edge of the known land toward the sunset.

For example Book of Joshua 1:4 describes Israel’s territory extending:

“…unto the Great Sea toward the going down of the sun.”

That phrase literally means the sea in the direction of the sunset, which fits the Mediterranean perfectly.

    Daniel 7:2 says:

“The four winds of heaven stirred up the great sea.”

The imagery suggests a large open sea being churned by winds from all four directions.

The Mediterranean fits this image well because:

    • It was the largest sea known to the biblical writers.
    • Storm systems frequently moved across it from multiple directions.
    • It sat at the centre of the political world that produced the great empires.

The four beasts in Book of Daniel 7 are commonly associated with empires that dominated the Mediterranean basin:

    1. Babylonian Empire
    2. Achaemenid Empire
    3. Macedonian Empire
    4. Roman Empire

By the time of Rome, the Mediterranean was literally called “Mare Nostrum” meaning “Our Sea” because the empire surrounded it.

So the image of kingdoms rising from the “Great Sea” naturally fits the Mediterranean political world.

In Book of Revelation 13:1, a beast rises out of the sea.

Many interpreters see this as deliberately echoing Daniel 7, using the same imagery of world powers emerging from the nations around the Mediterranean world.

So, the Mediterranean interpretation is supported by:

    • The Hebrew term “Great Sea”, which elsewhere clearly means the Mediterranean
    • Daniel’s location in Babylon looking west toward that sea
    • The historical empires centred around the Mediterranean
    • The continuity of imagery later used in Revelation

Together these make the Mediterranean the most natural identification.

Modern eschatology that tries to fit in other areas outside of the Mediterranean Sea are done for cultural or biased reasons. For example, the US as being part of this beast rising out of the Great Sea is believed because Americans think their country should be in the Bible somewhere. While it may be in the Bible explicitly or not, it is not there as part of the Beast.

As for the Vatican, I tend to think this belongs more to Mystery Babylon that rides the back of the Beast in Revelation.

The phrase “coming up out of the earth” contrasts with the earlier beast from the sea and suggests a different origin or type of power. The second beast appears righteous like a lamb but actually speaks with the authority of the dragon, indicating deceptive religious influence that supports the first beast’s rule.

I gave you the biblical meaning of the expression “great sea,” “sea,” “many waters,”

which is found in Revelation chapter 17.

It doesn’t matter whether it’s the Mediterranean Sea or not. The Bible, in Daniel and Revelation, speaks to us through symbols:

sea, beasts, horns, crowns, woman, whore, winds, stars, etc.
Why try to add explanations we don’t need to know, when the essential meaning is already given to us?

The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues.(Rev.17:15)

The whore sits upon “many waters”
which is said to be: “drunken with the blood of the saints, and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus”

The Bible tells us in the last verse of chapter 17:
“And the woman whom thou sawest is that great city, which reigneth over the kings of the earth.”

    This great City is the capital of the Papal Roman Empire;
Likewise the Holy City, THE NEW JERUSALEM
is the capital of the coming KINGDOM OF GOD.

[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
Rev. 21 [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
    ….
9] And there came one to me one of the seven angels who had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
[10] And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me
that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
    [11] Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a most precious stone, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;

    You say
The phrase “coming up out of the earth” contrasts with the earlier beast from the sea and suggests a different origin or type of power. The second beast appears righteous like a lamb but actually speaks with the authority of the dragon, indicating deceptive religious influence that supports the first beast’s rule.

    Me
    Coming up from the earth
    is a symbolic expression
as well as the expression: arise from the great sea.

Since “waters” means: peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues
Many waters therefore means MANY peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues

    Coming up from the earth suggests something else that I have already pointed out to you;
And we also have an additional clue in Revelation12
And when the dragon saw that he was cast unto the earth(AT THE CROSS), he persecuted the woman(church) which brought forth the man child.
[14] And to the woman were given two wings of a great eagle, that she might fly into the wilderness, into her place, where she is nourished for a time, and times, and half a time, from the face of the serpent.
[15] And the serpent cast out of his mouth water as a flood after the woman, that he might cause her to be carried away from the flood.
[16] And THE EARTH HELPED THE WOMAN, and THE EARTH OPENED HER MOUTH, and swallowed up the flood which the dragon cast out of his mouth.

    Small comment on this passage:
Here we see more details, and another of the 1260 year
prophecies. It shows how the True Church had to hide in
the wilderness, while the false power ruled the world from
Rome. The ‘serpent’, this wicked power, cast out water
like a flood to destroy the woman. Time after time huge
armies were sent to attack the true believers where they hid
in the little-known places of the world, in mountains, and
wilderness areas. The ‘floods’ that came out of the serpent’s
‘mouth’ also refer to laws and decrees, poured out from the
Roman powers against these true Bible believers.
This is how the ‘earth helped’ her by swallowing up
the floods of water; it meant that the wilderness areas allowed at least some of the true people of God to manage to
survive the persecution. Also it refers to the opening up of
the mostly unpopulated Americas at that time, where many
persecuted people were able to flee away from the Roman
power, and be safe to practice their true Bible faith. How
thrilling to see all this history written down before any of
    it had happened.

The term “Great Sea” is usually a literal geographical reference to the Mediterranean Sea. By contrast, the phrase “many waters” in Revelation 17 is symbolic language representing many peoples and nations. In apocalyptic literature such as Daniel and Revelation, seas and waters often symbolise the mass of humanity or groups of nations, but when the Old Testament uses the specific term “the Great Sea”, it normally refers to the Mediterranean rather than a symbolic body of water.

In the Greek Old Testament (the Septuagint), the Mediterranean is typically written as:

    ἡ θάλασσα ἡ μεγάλη
literally “the sea the great”, which in natural English becomes “the Great Sea”.

Greek often repeats the article when an adjective modifies a noun. The structure is:

    ἡ (the) + θάλασσα (sea) + ἡ (the) + μεγάλη (great)

This construction emphasises that it is a specific, well known sea, not just any large sea. In the biblical context it refers to the Mediterranean Sea, which lay west of Israel.

In contrast, when Revelation talks about “many waters” (Revelation 17:1), the Greek is:

    ὑδάτων πολλῶν
    meaning “many waters”.

Here there is no definite article referring to a specific sea, and the phrase is later explained symbolically in Revelation 17:15 as representing peoples, multitudes, nations, and languages.

The phrase “coming up out of the earth” in Revelation 13:11 contrasts deliberately with the earlier description of the first beast, which rises “out of the sea”. In apocalyptic language, the sea often represents the restless mass of nations or the broader Gentile world, while the earth (Greek: γῆ, gē) can refer to the land or a more settled, local population. Because of this contrast, many see the second beast as arising from within the established world or from a particular land rather than emerging from the chaotic mass of nations symbolised by the sea.

From Lamb to Dragon: Secretary of War Pete Hegseth Claims that Without the Catholic Crusades, there would be no Protestant Reformation or America

Recent developments reported by The New York Times reveal a troubling and significant shift taking place within the United States—one that should not be ignored by those who understand Bible prophecy. In an article published on March 20, 2026, titled “Hegseth Invokes Divine Purpose to Justify Military Might,” it highlights how high-level leadership within the Pentagon—particularly under Secretary of War Pete Hegseth—has increasingly incorporated overt, medieval Catholic Crusade-era religious language into official military settings, especially in the context of an escalating war with Iran.

The New York Times published the following on March 20, 2026:

    • “More than any top American military leader in recent history, Mr. Hegseth has framed U.S. military operations in the Middle East, Africa and Latin America as bigger than politics or foreign policy. Often he has imbued these actions with a Christian moral underpinning that suggests they are divinely sanctioned.” [1]

    • “Mr. Hegseth posted a video that mixed audio of himself reciting the Lord’s Prayer with video of missiles firing, warships steaming and paratroopers falling from the sky.” [1]

    • “We face an essential test,” he told defense ministers from across the Western Hemisphere, “whether our nations will be and remain Western nations with distinct characteristics, Christian nations under God.” [1]

    • “Mr. Hegseth’s calls to prayer in the Pentagon press room and the monthly, voluntary Christian worship services that he has organized in the Pentagon auditorium are a stark departure from the way military chaplains are taught to minister to their flock.” [1]

    • “Mr. Hegseth, for his part, reaches back to an earlier era of the Catholic church to support his view.” [1]

    • “Tattooed on Mr. Hegseth’s right biceps is the Latin phrase “Deus vult,” or “God wills it,” which he has described as a “battle cry” of the Crusades, the ruthless medieval wars where Christian warriors fought to take over Jerusalem from Muslim rule. Mr. Hegseth sees those battles as perhaps the most formative moment in the history of the free world.” [1]

“In his book “American Crusade,” published in 2020, he describes the Crusades as “bloody” and “full of unspeakable tragedy,” but argues that they were justified because they saved a Christian Europe from the onslaught of Islam.” [1]

    • “Do you enjoy Western civilization? Freedom? Equal justice? Thank a crusader,” he writes in the book. “If not for the Crusades, there would have been no Protestant Reformation or Renaissance. There would be no Europe and no America.” [1]

    • “This is the view of God, Christianity and war that dominates Mr. Hegseth’s Pentagon prayer services.” [1]
When a high-ranking political leader in charge of our armed forces praises the Catholic Crusades as the means that saved Western civilization, including Protestantism and America, it demonstrates a lack of historical knowledge and serves as an indication of what is being planned for the days ahead. First and foremost, the Crusades were not merely defensive wars; they were also offensive religious conflicts, characterized by the use of force, bloodshed, and the union of Church and State. Praising them amounts to glorifying the idea that resorting to violence to promote religion is acceptable, rather than upholding freedom of conscience.

Secondly, it is not true that the Crusades helped preserve society or paved the way for the Protestant Reformation. It was God who preserved His truth and protected the reformers. In fact, there were several crusades launched by Rome to destroy the Albigensians, Waldensians, Hussites, Lutherans, Calvinists, Anabaptists, Huguenots, and many other groups that sought to follow the Bible. The truth is that Roman Catholics, under the so-called Holy Roman Inquisition, attempted to completely eradicate Protestantism.

Thirdly, this kind of thinking goes against the principle of separating church and state. The United States was founded to protect religious liberty—not to enforce religious ideas through government or military power. History shows that mixing religion with force leads to persecution and suffering, and praising the Crusades as a model for modern warfare sends the dangerous message that faith can be spread or defended by military powers—something that has always led to the loss of true religious freedom.

When Pete Hegseth uses the Catholic Crusades as inspiration for military warfare, it introduces the idea that wars carry divine approval. It unites faith with force, leading people to believe that military actions are aligned with God’s will. Such thinking makes it easier to justify war in the name of righteousness and reinterprets human conflict as a holy cause. Under this mindset of religious warfare, questioning modern military actions can be seen as opposing God Himself.

Under this mindset of religious warfare, questioning modern military actions can be seen as opposing God Himself.

“Our country shall repudiate every principle of its Constitution as a Protestant and republican government, and shall make provision for the propagation of papal falsehoods and delusions, then we may know that the time has come for the marvelous working of Satan and that the end is near.” (Testimonies for the Church, vol. 5, p. 451)
The “image of the beast” represents a system where apostate faith and political force unite. This is not biblical Christianity but apostate Protestantism that uses civil power to advance church dogmas. What we are witnessing is the formation of this very image: a government that increasingly imposes religious identity through military force. These are early steps toward a system that will eventually enforce false worship. America is not yet fully speaking like a dragon—but the tone is changing. Our nation, which professes freedom while moving toward increased religious influence in government, is fulfilling this very contradiction warned of by God:

“The lamblike horns and dragon voice of the symbol point to a striking contradiction between the professions and the practice of the nation thus represented … And the statement that the beast with two horns ‘causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast’ indicates that the authority of this nation is to be exercised in enforcing some observance which shall be an act of homage to the papacy” (Great Controversy, p. 442).

“By the decree enforcing the institution of the papacy in violation of the law of God, our nation will disconnect herself fully from righteousness.”
(The Great Controversy, p. 451)
The United States has long been recognized as a nation founded on the principles of civil and religious liberty—a land where church and state were intentionally separated to protect freedom of conscience. This gives prophetic meaning to the description in Revelation 13:11 of a beast with “two horns like a lamb,” representing republicanism—a constitutional form of government—and Protestantism, with its emphasis on liberty of conscience. However, Bible prophecy also reveals that a transformation will take place, and this lamb-like beast will eventually “speak like a dragon.”

Donald Trump Urges Republican Senators to Pass Federal Legislation “For Jesus”

On Sunday March 22, 2026, President Donald Trump told fellow Republicans that they should not reach an agreement on funding the Department of Homeland Security until Democrats in Congress approve a bill, known as the Save America Act, that requires people registering to vote to provide proof of U.S. citizenship. Donald Trump told them, “Make this one for Jesus, OK. Make this one for Jesus. That’s what I tell them.”

Urging members of Congress to pass any federal bill “for Jesus” is fundamentally wrong because it reflects the very union of church and state—and the loss of religious liberty—that prophecy warns will take place in the last days. The government’s God-given role is to protect life, liberty, and justice—not to enact laws “in Jesus’ name.” When the head of state pressures legislators to act on explicitly religious grounds, civil authority crosses a sacred boundary, stepping into a realm that belongs only to God and to the individual conscience.

The Sunday law will be proposed for the very same reasons the President is using here—“for Jesus,” for morality, for national healing, for family values, to appease God’s wrath in times of crisis, or to restore so-called “Christian” principles within society. God has warned that such developments would take place. History consistently shows that whenever church and state unite—whether in medieval Europe or in more modern expressions of “Christian nationalism”—the result is the same: pressure and, ultimately, persecution against those who cannot in good conscience comply.

“The dignitaries of church and State will unite to bribe, persuade, or compel all classes to honor the Sunday. The lack of divine authority will be supplied by oppressive enactments. Political corruption is destroying love of justice and regard for truth; and even in free America, rulers and legislators, in order to secure public favor, will yield to the popular demand for a law enforcing Sunday observance” (Great Controversy, p. 592).

You need to be careful how you judge things.

What if the USA had a good purpose in God’s plans. If so, calling them the dragon is not blasphemy of the Holy Spirit (I don’t think), but is heading in that direction.

Some Christians pass harsh judgements on other Christians because they understand them not. Often those that have a calling in God are judged harshly to begin with and eventually people see the truth.

The only world power that arose and established itself on the basis of republicanism and Protestantism, [hence the mention in Revelation 13: “and he had two horns like a lamb”]
is the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA.

“Two horns like a lamb” suggests the religion of Christ.

But this same world power is described as speaking like a dragon.

    To speak is to legislate.

Lol. No, way off. But I understand that of the 45,000+ denominations that exist, they cover just about every theory and possibility.

But if you delve into the Bible, Daniel and John primarily speak of the empires around the Great Sea. Not empires in other areas of the world.

Why? Because the Bible is focussed around Israel which happens to be in that area.

Yes, there are references to the end of the world etc, but the empires spoken of are in and around the Great Sea which is the Mediterranean Sea.

The doctrine you espouse is incorrect.

The Old Testament is a book that is focussed on the Jews, not the Americans, or the Chinese.

A horn = a kingdom( govt, armies, supporters)-10 horns( a place where kingdoms gather)  the one that was( league of nations) is not( death stroke= done away with after ww1) and yet is( united nations( death stroke got healed)– the 2 horned beast = 2 kingdoms working together as the final world power, even though the 10 horned beast is an eighth king in itself( but unlike the other world powers)– cannot buy or sell( sanctions right now, but during the tribulation after the fall of Babylon the great( triggers the trib) Gods true religion stands and every kingdom on Earth rises against it( Rev 16) they all stand in opposition to Gods king who heads that 1 true religion) this triggers-Rev 19:11=Armageddon.

Why Some Believe He Was Sent for the End Times ?

They do not understand the meaning of the end-times prophecy, particularly Daniel 2 and 7 and Revelation 12, 13, 14, and 17, among others.

Therefore, they follow false prophets who tell them things that lead them astray from what God wants them to know for their salvation.
