    Hi BD,

    Ultimate respect??

God wants you to obey Him and believe in the Son.

The rest is useless human religious time wasting.

    Hi,

The words of the anointed man Jesus Christ need to be spiritually assayed.

You need to know if it is the man speaking or the Word or the Spirit of the Father.

You must be reborn from above.

If this is about the actual beginning it would make no sense because there would be no “Men” in the beginning but in John 1:4 In him was life,[a] and the life was the light of men.

Hebrews 11:3 says, “By faith we understand that the universe was created by the word of God..”

Psalm 33:6  says, “By the word of the LORD the heavens were made, their starry host by the breath of His mouth.”

Genesis 2:7 “Then the LORD God formed man of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living being.”

John is saying that in the beginning, this breath – this Word of life that proceeded from the Father and created man, giving him life and understanding.. was unmistakably Jesus Christ “He was in the beginning with God. Through Him all things were made; without Him nothing was made that has been made.”

This is the testimony of John by revelation, to which the Spirit gives witness.

The Word made flesh…who now, through the light of the Gospel, gives new life to those who receive Him; restoring back to mankind the spiritual life and light lost in the garden..

And how exactly does Christ fit into your understanding of Psalm 33:6?

    Christ is…

    A. Is speaking the word and is the word
    B. Is not speaking the word but is the word
    C. Is not speaking the word and is not the word

    Please choose A, B, or C ???

    so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it. (Isaiah 55)

    Hi Miia

Just because God’s word accomplishes what he wants it to,
it does NOT make his word his son; did you somehow think it does?

    Hi Ed.

I did not say the word spoken out of God’s mouth was the Son of God, but God spoke His word for us in these last days through His Son as scripture says.

“God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son, whom He appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the world (aion).”

From what I understand of Isaiah 55, God’s word goes out from His mouth with a purpose and returns to him after accomplishing what He has sent it to do.
In the last days, Jesus was sent and accomplished what God wanted Him to do through the Holy Spirit, then Jesus went to God in Heaven.
So, God’s spoken word and the spirit of God and Jesus the son of God became as one.

    Hi EdJ

You’re jumping in on my discussion with bd, but if this analysis is important to you then I’d say the mouth is the Father, His breath is the Spirit, and Christ the spoken Word… three Persons – one God.

Thus in Psalm 33:6 we have the three manifestations of God – Word, LORD and Breath..

Just my own speculation on defining the indefinable.. but I’m sure you guys will all correct me and deliver me from the terrible idol worship of Jesus Christ – my Lord AND my God.

    Hi Miia

If Jesus spoke “The Word” then it should be pretty obvious that he cannot be “The Word” which he is speaking; do you agree?

    Hi David L,

    B. Christ is not speaking the word but is the word
    C. Christ is not speaking the word and is not the word

Sounds like you may be going for “B” – is “B” your answer?

    Hi DavidL

I’m not sure where or how you developed your theology but I must ask you, Do you believe when the Bible and Jesus says:

    Deuteronomy 6:4
Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:

If so can you please tell me who is this Lord who is our God?

If it is Jesus is there another Lord who is our God?

If you say there is another Lord who is our God, how can there be only ONE Lord who is our God?

    Hi Davidl,

None of the anointed prophets taught about any trinity and neither did Jesus Christ.

    But you do.

    Any your credentials greater?

It is an easy choice of whom to listen to.

I hate theology (but love Scripture)…theology is the dead interpretations and wranglings of men who think they are important because of their amazing Biblical knowledge – but Scripture is alive and pure…wasn’t it the theologians that crucified Christ..!? Those old pharisees knew the Scriptures back to front but because they had not the Spirit they hated the truth when it stood before them in human form.. so it is today, you people debate endlessly, pretending to know the Scriptures…but do you ever actually get anywhere..!? ..if someone spoke the truth, could you discern..!? and would you even listen… or just go on endlessly promoting your own Biblical theories…?

Yes God is one…didn’t Jesus say ‘I and the Father are one’..?  Tell me bd, what other prophet, apostle or saint could ever say a thing like that..!?  Could you say that…!?

Don’t you know that those who you call ‘trinitarians’ believe the three are ONE…!!! (?)  – because, in truth, they ARE one, but your logic will always prevail until you learn to listen to the Spirit – learn to discern what is inspired of God, and what is just dead doctrine.

    Hi,

    Heb 1 .1f

“God, after He spoke long ago to the fathers in the prophets in many portions and in many ways, in these last days has spoken to us in His Son…”

It is about the Father Who uses vessels to speak to men.

Men did not call the prophets GOD so why do they say this about the Son?

    Hi davidl

You asked if we could be one with God too.

    Jn 17

    20

“…that they may all be ONE , even as You, Father, are in me and I in You,

that they may be in us so that the world may believe You sent me.”

    Can you grasp this?

    Hi davidl,

The Spirit inspired the authors of the scriptures

The scriptures do not teach that God is three.

So which spirit are you of?

    Hi davidl,

The Son wants other men to be sons too.

He is the first of many brothers.

Why do you worship the vessel when you do not worship the prophets who served in the same way?
