I think he was addressing someone else.

But as for me, I'm not really a Christian; I'm a disciple of Jesus of Nazareth. There are to many dissimilarities in Paul’s Paganized version of Jesus gospel for me to honestly proclaim myself a Christian.

Paul brought much of his own religious baggage into Christianity. He influences a lot of the NT. The problem was further compounded when latter church authorities proclaimed the NT books, even Paul’s simple letters as “The Word of God”. It was there that the braches became diseased and the fruit blighted, stunted.

The “Big picture” is that Jesus/God seemed to have designed his birth, life, ministry and death around the pre-knowledge that he would be rejected by his own. The story of his birth, life, ministry and death was similar enough to the various Pagan religions outside of Israelite culture and theology to be more likely to accept his imperfect missionaries whom he had sent out presumably to the four corners of the earth.

Jesus knew the future, he knew there would be a long period of dormancy for “the kingdom of heaven”, he knew his gospel was difficult to accept, to simple to comprehend and surrender to.

With that in mind I do wonder at times If Jesus chose Paul as the best intermediary representative, that Paul would salvage enough parts of the original gospel to make Christianity “vital”.

I have no way of knowing weather or not the miracles of the apostles are exaggerations or not.

Paul is a chosen one ,and what me or you or any one else like or not like in scriptures is irrelevant to the truth of God,

the scriptures are very well composted well lay out for preaching the gospel of God and his grace,

understand that it is not God that comes to us ,this God as already done by his son sacrifice and grace;

now it is us to go to him and accept his grace

the letters of Paul are useful to understand the ;why's,the when's,the who's the whom's and the what's,

you do not want to accept him that would be your lost ;

No, Jesus is the Son of God, he is eternal, the co-creator of this world. But you have a mental block of some sort about that. Maybe whatever reasoning there is that you use to say that there is only one God…..yet Satan is also a God, just get rid of Satan, because he was defeated, is gone and never had the power that fear imagined he did.

Not really confused, I just know that man has a tendency to worship idols instead of trusting God. Like the Bible idol. It is easier to form doctrine then live by faith.

I'm not belittling Peter and Paul, not at all, they were sincere, they did what they thought was right. They took the gospel in a different direction. But they weren’t on the same level as The Son of God in understanding.
