1 Corinthians 15:35-38

Cairns Birdwing Butterfly, Queensland Australia

But someone may ask, “How will the dead be raised? What kind of bodies will they have?” What a foolish question! When you put a seed into the ground, it doesn’t grow into a plant unless it dies first. And what you put in the ground is not the plant that will grow, but only a bare seed of wheat or whatever you are planting. Then God gives it the new body he wants it to have. A different plant grows from each kind of seed.

    Hi t8,

Yes a new body is promised to house our souls.

And we will share the Spirit life of the Father and the Son.

Yes Proclaimer, but don’t forget it returns back to the exact kind of  body that produced it.  No matter how many times it is repeated , a butterfly is changed into a worm, then changes  again into another butterfly.  God created them to have seed that reproduces it self again, over and over it will alway produce what it came from.  God will give us new bodies but not different one ,  that is why every hair on you head is numbered, have you ever wondered why? .  There would be no point in keeping it,  if they weren’t going to be needed again, right?

Peace and love to you and yours. …………gene

Nobody is saying we don’t have a body like what we have now. But it is spiritual. Physical then spiritual. Some people remain as a worm though.
