Did God create all things through the Lord Jesus Christ?

Jesus Christ Stained Glass Window

Many are those who deny that Jesus Christ was the first to be with God and by extension, that God created all things through him. Obviously Atheists deny this. But many so-called Believers also deny this.

What does the Bible say. Did Jesus exist before all things and did God create all things for him? Scripture is actually very clear on this. It says that God created all things through the Word, the Son, and the Lord Jesus Christ. And we know that these three are not three different persons. Clearly, they are the same person who we know as the Jesus Christ.

  1. The Word. See John 1:3 & 14
  2. The Son. See Hebrews 1:1-2 & Colossians 1: 15-20
  3. Lord Jesus Christ. See 1 Corinthians 8:6

If God created all things through Jesus Christ the Word, The Son of God, and the Lord, then he must have preceded all things. It seems that the Son is in the unique position between God and Man and God and creation.

John 1:1-3 & 14
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made….

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

Revelation 19:13
He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God.

Hebrews 1:1-2
In the past God spoke to our ancestors through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom also he made the universe.

Colossians 1: 15-20
The Son is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.

1 Corinthians 8:6
yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.

Anyone who teaches that Jesus Christ did not exist with God in the beginning of creation is denying what the scriptures teach. Anyone who denies that God created all things through the son of God is also denying what the scriptures teach.

It is central to the faith that we believe in the one true God AND HIS Son Jesus Christ.

Alterations of that are simply false teaching.

    Hi Jodi,

Luke 2:And seeing him, they wondered. And his mother said to him: Son, why hast thou done so to us? behold thy father and I have sought thee sorrowing. 49And he said to them:

How is it that you sought me?

    did you not know,

that I must be about my father’s business?

50And they UNDERSTOOD not the word that he spoke unto them.

You: We read that Jesus can do nothing of himself …..

ME: Jodi AS YOU WELL SAID:

JESUS COULD DO NOTHING OF HIMSELF, NO?

Read the scripture above and explain on heaven net, please:

HOW COME JESUS CONFIRMED AT THE AGE OF THIRTEEN, THAT FROM THAT MOMENT ONWARD HE MUST BE ABOUT

    HIS FATHER’S BUSINESS?

WAS THIS BUSINESS JESUS MENTIONED WHICH TOOK 18 YEARS TO FULFILL,

HE DID IT ALL BY HIMSELF?

    YES OR NO PLEASE!

Just to remind you, read please:

If you had known me, you would without doubt have known my Father also: and from henceforth you shall know him,

    and you have seen him.

8Philip saith to him: Lord, show us the Father, and it is enough for us. 9Jesus saith to him: Have I been so long a time with you; and have you not known me? Philip,

he that seeth me seeth the Father also.

How sayest thou, Shew us the Father? 10Do you not believe, that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?

The words that I speak to you, I speak not of myself.

But the Father who abideth in me,

    he doth the works.

YOU: We read Jesus declaring when he was anointed and when thus him as Christ,

was sent out into the world.

    Jodi, ANSWER

    NOW, READING LUKE ABOVE,

WASN’T JESUS, AS YOU CORRUPTLY PREACH ABOVE,

SENT “OUT INTO” THE WORLD, TO ACCOMPLISH HIS FATHER’S BUSINESS!

    YES OR NO PLEASE:

Peace and love in Jesus Christ

Carmel……So you are really saying you “really”do not believe what Jesus himself says right? , That is obvious , Jesus said he could no “Nothing” Of himself,  you say he is a liar?  Scripture shows that Jesus started his ministery after he was anointed by John and recieved the “Holy Spirit” from God  and was led out into the wilderness to be tested,  you say his ministry started when he was just a child still under the care of his parents.

Seems you and our scriptures have different opinions about Jesus and what he “clearly said”.  But then Jesus did say …..”many would come in his mane and decieve “many” , that seems to be the catagory you belong in right?

Peace and love to you and your Carmel……..gene
