If you delete me as a member, will that mean I'll never be able to use my computer to join again at a later date?

I'm just curious, the last time I got booted off this site for my not so pleasant behaivior, I couldn't log back in for a couple days, and I'm just wondering if deleting me has this same affect.

If not…..please delete me…..I may join later with a less stupid name.

    Take it easy!!

(I was emailed this from Heaven net forum to past in this area…..I'm not sure why…but here it is)

I apologize to everyone I may have offended in these forums.

Please don't look at me as an example of what a JW is, I haven't been one in over 10
    years.

Anyway, I'm sorry for anyone in these forums that I've upset. I'm going to get my life on
track, so I will no longer be joining in on these conversations for quite some time, if
    ever again.

I don't want my opinions to offend anymore people, so again I apologize to all.

The complete board is back to being your's Nick……………may your efforts of
spreading “your” truth bring you all the happiness you can get from it.

And to anyone on this site that bashes the witnesses, please remember this, It's not the
witnesses you are bashing, but Jehovah.

And to all you “born again” Christians who love using Jesus name……..please
    think about this info:

    God’s name is Jehovah

“We do not say that “Jehovah” is the correct pronunciation of God's name.
For that matter, neither is “Jesus” the correct pronunciation of Christ's name.
But according to the Aramaic language which Christ and his apostles spoke, his name was
pronounced “Yeshu'a”……. But “Jesus” is only our colloquial way of
pronouncing his name, and we do not find fault with you for using it instead of Yeshu'a.

It might be added here what the meaning of the Son of God's name “Jesus” is,
whilst he dwelt on earth as a man, as used by all translations. According to Weymouth this
name means “Jehovah is Salvation.”(The New Testament in Modern Speech, ftnote 21
under Matthew 1:21.) He is entirely right. So every time anyone uses this name, Jesus,
(which is not the original pronunciation of it in the 1st century) he is using and
supporting a form of The Divine Name JEHOVAH

“Those who reject the English “Jehovah” and insist on using the Hebrew
pronunciation[Yahweh] would do well to ask themselves why they say “Jesus
Christ,” when that was not the way his name was pronounced in Hebrew. That is the
English way, derived from the Greek language. In Hebrew, Jesus would be closer to
“Yehshua” and Christ would be “Mash'edahh.” So, as we say “Jesus
Christ” in the English language, we also say “Jehovah,” both being correct
    when speaking English.”

I again apologize to everyone I may have offended….

My only request was that you quit arguing over stupid stuff, and focus on the more
important issues in these last days, but even I can't seem to stop arguing, so I'm bowing
out to go do what I know I need to do to get my life back on track.

There's no need to respond to my messages anymore, because I'm now saying good buy to you
    all…………….

May all of your searches for “truth” bring you to what it is you are searching
    for.

    Peace to all….I'm out!

According to Weymouth this name means “Jehovah is Salvation.”(The New Testament in Modern Speech, ftnote 21 under Matthew 1:21.) He is entirely right. So every time anyone uses this name, Jesus, (which is not the original pronunciation of it in the 1st century) he is using and supporting a form of The Divine Name JEHOVAH

“Those who reject the English “Jehovah” and insist on using the Hebrew pronunciation[Yahweh] would do well to ask themselves why they say “Jesus Christ,” when that was not the way his name was pronounced in Hebrew. That is the English way, derived from the Greek language. In Hebrew, Jesus would be closer to “Yehshua” and Christ would be “Mash'edahh.” So, as we say “Jesus Christ” in the English language, we also say “Jehovah,” both being correct when speaking English.”

I again apologize to everyone I may have offended….

My only request was that you quit arguing over stupid stuff, and focus on the more important issues in these last days, but even I can't seem to stop arguing, so I'm bowing out to go do what I know I need to do to get my life back on track.

There's no need to respond to my messages anymore, because I'm now saying good buy to you all…………….

May all of your searches for “truth” bring you to what it is you are searching for.

    Peace to all….I'm out!

I apologize to everyone I may have offended in these forums.

Please don't look at me as an example of what a JW is, I haven't been one in over 10 years.

Anyway, I'm sorry for anyone in these forums that I've upset. I'm going to get my life on track, so I will no longer be joining in on these conversations for quite some time, if ever again.

I don't want my opinions to offend anymore people, so again I apologize to all.

The complete board is back to being your's Nick……………may your efforts of spreading “your” truth bring you all the happiness you can get from it.

And to anyone on this site that bashes the witnesses, please remember this, It's not the witnesses you are bashing, but Jehovah.

And to all you “born again” Christians who love using Jesus name……..please think about this info:

    God’s name is Jehovah

“We do not say that “Jehovah” is the correct pronunciation of God's name. For that matter, neither is “Jesus” the correct pronunciation of Christ's name. But according to the Aramaic language which Christ and his apostles spoke, his name was pronounced “Yeshu'a”……. But “Jesus” is only our colloquial way of pronouncing his name, and we do not find fault with you for using it instead of Yeshu'a.

    Hi qa,
    Wrong again.
Read the site info again and stop judging as it only brings God's attention to our deficiencies.

    Whatever Nick.

    Hi qa,
    This is what t8 says.
    You should read it again.
“When christians want or allow a pastor to rule over them like a King, then what is the price? Not only will he take your sons and make them serve him, but he will take a tenth/tithe of your income in order to support his ministry. It has been said that most money that is donated to denominations is used in running the denominations. Not that much is given to the needy as you may think.

True giving is never under compulsion. But let each man decide in his own heart what he will give. We should be generous and help the needy. We should also help ministries that are in service for the King and his Kingdom.

We are free from the law and we are under God's grace. So we should give gracefully and not under compulsion.”

I don't deny this fact…and I agree…most churches take peoples money to make their fancy churches and cathedrals.

    This is not right…..

but it is not true with witnesses…….so don't throw them in with your insults..

    Good night!

    Hi qa,
    Wrong again.
Read the site info again and stop judging as it only brings God's attention to our deficiencies.

All you do on this site is judge others…..so who are you to talk?

If you go to one of the many books on the site there's an area on becoming a member….in that area it brings out in no uncertain form that “tithing” is required……..and if you read other books as well their's a lot of material directed to “tithing”……….

I like the fact that I agree with 90% of what is on the site…..but in my opinion (which is my right)……business and religion have made a nice union as far as this little “pop up” church is concerned.

Maybe I exaggerated….. It might cost $100-$200 in hosting fees to keep the site up and running, but I'm sure any contributions that come in more than cover this cost. (I still think the site serves a good purpose, so don't get me wrong)

The fact of the matter is that their are many people on this earth who will never have internet access, so their has to be more than simply trying to save people online (as well as over web forums). It simply isn't going to happen.

Maybe someday even you'll figure this out…..

There needs to be people meeting face to face with others and getting the information in their hands to read at their own time and place, regardless of where they live, and regardless if they have internet access.

I find it interesting that he's so proud of the 15million people that have downloaded one of his e-books……. since 1999. He states that 50% of the world have internet nowadays….so this is how he's going to reach the world with truth. (I feel bad for the poor people who don't have a shot, seeing as to how they may never get reached).

Obviously it would be much more costly to actually make real books and magazines compared to the web format, so from a cost prohibitive standpoint, as well as being a business man myself….I can truly appreciate these facts.

Like I said before…it's been many years since I've been a witness….but I came across a “dusty” 2000 JW yearbook (someone must have gave me one way back), anyway…..it's over 6 years ago, but kind of interesting……………

in the year 2000 this was the numbers for them……

1,026,706,628 copies of the watchtower and awake
(yeah….that's over a billion, and that's over 6 years ago)

    41,579,805 Books were made

    71,221,759 brochures and booklets

All being done in 332 languages at that time……and not once is their ever a direct command to “TITHE” from this organization……people are simply asked to give what they wish…..to give freely to the efforts of this worldwide work.

Remember this was in the year 2000….(I'll have to find out what happened in 2006…I'd be curious)

I'll never for the life of me figure out how over 6 million people can stay so united in one cause……..but I believe I'm starting to figure it out…..and it certainly isn't happening because of any one or two men.

I just thought I'd share those numbers with you, as well as get back to you for correcting me like I don't know what I read when I read something.

Have a good night…I'm going to bed
(and this time I actually am lol)

    Take care!

    Hi cb,
What amazing unity do the Father and Son possess
that the Father gives all His power and authority to his firstborn?

    WOW….

I agree with you again Nick……

What are the odds of that?

    I agree with you Nick….

See….I don't always need to be at odds with you (lol)

    Hi qa,
Seek the grace of God and he will make all the changes without any help from you transforming your inner man and conforming you to Christ if you are reborn into him.

Yeah,Yeah,Yeah……become reborn like Nick and everything else won't matter anymore……I understand.

    Talk with you later.

    Hi qa,
While you are at it you owe me a few too.
When is this amazing personality change you have promised going to take effect?

    I have given you a couple……

My guess is my personality change should kick in after a few months, (no promise though), but for the time being I'm still the same old tattooed worldly man that happens to possess a vast amount of information.

I'm trying to not fight with people, (even though I'd really enjoy doing so)….because I got kicked off this site for a few of my first messages on this forum, so I'm now trying to control myself.

(it's kind of like getting disassociated)

You're not exactly a gentleman yourself, I'm sure you and I could handle things differently if we were to have physically met a few months ago in a bar, but here is where we met, and this is the way it is.

I'll start apologising to you when you start apologising to other members that you mock, especially David, he's twice the man of either of us, and you treat him like a peice of crap because he doesn't just roll over to you like everyone else.

I do need to watch my “bluntness”, because it does turn people off……..like Debra, (I actually do feel bad for offending her)

It's a little more difficult to care about offending you, because you don't seem to care if you offend others. (It's kind of that whole “you get what you give” type thing)

If I've ever offended you I'm sorry, but I'm just as stubborn as you, the only difference is I answer my questions directly, you play games………and it upsets many people on this site. (not just me)

    Hi qa,
You really are an O.T.T man and I doubt if the JWs will accept you back.
You turn simple comments into a promotion of the most vulgar practices of the world.

I guess my common sense must be irritating to you.
