Some KKK for example believe in both Evolution mixed with their interpretation of the bible. They consider themselves to be made in the image of God and that they shouldn't intermarry older species of humans (pre-adamic) who are apes.Neanderthals versus Cromagnons. Stu are you Neanderthal or Cromagnon?

There are billions of things that a person can believe.Regardless of that, truth still exists. In a planet of 7 billion people do not be surprised about anything.I mean many think everything that exists was not created, so anything else doesn't surprise me.

Quote (princess @ July 16 2011,00:08)I disagree T8, predicates are added gravy to a sentence. ex: Jesus wept. Stuart smiled. T8 sneezed. Edj listened. Princess laughed. Come here. Stay there. Yes. No. Maybe so. who knows. possible. how come. don't know. okay. the end. Stuart smiled, at the cat. T8 sneezed, due to his allergiesEdj listened, for the…[Read more]

When a plane flies, the law of gravity is not done away completely, rather it is just superseded by aerodynamics.Grace supersedes the law but doesn't do away with it completely. The law will not be needed when there is no sin to invoke the law.

John 1:14The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. If the Word is God himself, then then the Father became flesh. But God is not a man.And it was after all, Jesus who existed in the form of God who emptied himself and came in…[Read more]

So the Word of God is not Jesus but the Father?

I should add that sin is imperfection itself. It is missing the mark, the standard. So once that happens, you need to be educated as to what the mark is.Is that education perfect? Well perhaps resolution to fix imperfection needs to address imperfection. So you could think that the law is imperfect because it is not adequate in itself, but is really…[Read more]

Gene.Jesus certainly has a beginning in the flesh. But scripture says that he was the Word. That is what he was before he came in the flesh. He was the Word that was with God.So yes, you can talk about the seed and the flesh and him being a man.But that is only part of the picture.

Quote (WhatIsTrue @ Nov. 22 2011,04:58)Ed,Oh, I get it now.God wrote laws to accomodate man's imperfections so that Jesus could fulfill the imperfect laws and do away with them because they were too hard to follow because they represented God's perfect standard that no man could fulfill on his own.Does that cover it?I never realized that God was…[Read more]

To add to your last post shimmer. Many are not aware that Christianity is mostly the result of political power gaining control of adherents to Christ. When the Roman Empire was in decline, the emperor decided to embrace Christians because they were the only common thread throughout his empire. The result was a false Church that exercised political…[Read more]

Gene.I will try and make it clearer for you.If we are not a soul in a body and with a spirit in the soul, then when we are given a new body and spirit, then we are replaced because there is nothing of us left.If YOU are merely the combination of 2 things, then when those 2 things are replaced, then you no longer exist.e.g., if I chop my arm off I…[Read more]
