Thanks TimothyVI.But I think that he already believes in a kind of magic.A universe from nothing or something eternal that doesn't possess life which is the very thing it produced.Everything from nothing or life from no life. Magic at its best.Right up there with all the numbers from zero alone. Or awareness of numbers from numbers alone.

Quote (david @ Feb. 19 2012,18:38)I was gone a while. Has stu left the building? He might have been trying to figure out how to produce a whole number using only zero to start with.If that is not correct, then my next best guess is how infinity can become conscious. If he did neither, then no point in conversing with him because he will have no…[Read more]

You may call me an agnostic, but I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from religious indoctrination received in youth.Albert.

LU.Nick is right.”Geography only divides the commited members.”So the churches is simply localities where the body reside and fellowship. And you are right.”Do you see that many churches make up the one body of Christ? Do you also see that the 'one body' is one church at large?”Matthew 16“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will…[Read more]

Edj.It is possible for an attribute of God to be a person too.In fact that is what a person is.An embodiment of God's characteristics.Jesus said he was the truth. Does that mean that God is not true or that Jesus is the truth without compromising truth in God himself?Of course the latter is the case.

Hi cavedave.Welcome and thanks for your views.I agree that Jesus is not God/YHWH/the Most High.He is the son of God and the messiah.Jesus used this truth as the foundation for his Church. The best way to attack any organisation or structure is to attack the foundation.

What I am doing Edj is saying that scripture says that there is one God the Father, and the creeds that many hold to say that there is one God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. So then I say, do you believe in a creed over scripture? And it appears that many will defend the creed, even when you point out the scripture and many others.Simple…[Read more]

In case you want to play Edj, I have 3 questions Edj.1) Why do people pay to go up tall buildings, then put money in binoculars to look at things on the ground?2) Why does The Alphabet Song and Twinkle Twinkle Little Star have the same tune?3) Does pushing the elevator button more than once make it arrive faster?

What is the point of this thread? Is it to compromise truth and say that both God is a Trinity and there is one God the Father are the same thing?Because my view is that God's truth is greater than any man. Thus I would tend to show more respect for truth than try and make a person happy because he doesn't believe something to be true.

Hi david.I had a read of a few pages and from what I can tell, I think we didn't disagree on this.I made some points such as:The sons of God are those who are lead by God's spirit. Our spirits bear witness with God's spirit that we are the sons of God.Therefore if the Earth is in the process of redemption but is not fully redeemed, then is it…[Read more]

A triune God is not one God the Father.God the Father, God the son, God the Holy Spirit is not one God the Father.Looks like a dichotomy. For us there is one God the Father.Amazing that men will come up with anything to try and change that.I just don't understand what men gain in doing so.But it is their life and will.
