Quote (Stu @ Dec. 09 2012,23:39)That idea is that since no god believer has ever produced unambiguous evidence for his god claim, therefore it is a valid provisional conclusion that the god believer is deluded, and no gods really exist. That's not a faith-based belief that I hold because it is not based in evidence, it is a scientific conclusion…[Read more]

Quote (Lightenup @ Dec. 10 2012,17:10)Jesus is the name given the man that YHWH the Son became. YHWH is the name given the pre-existent Son.So the Father is not YHWH then. And if you say that both of them are called by the name YHWH, then you have 2 YHWHs.Either way you are proven wrong. There are not two YHWHs and the Father is definitely YHWH.

Ed J, it is likely that the PM box will not be transferable and links will definitely break because the URLs to topics will be different. That said, this current forum would remain live, but I would just remove the ability to post. So you would still have access to PMs.

Ed J, I can't change anyone's vote. But I will take a mental note of it when assessing which way the votes go.

LU, what you do not realise is this.”This, then, is the judgment: The light has come into the world, and people loved darkness rather than the light because their deeds were evil. For everyone who practices wicked things hates the light and avoids it, so that his deeds may not be exposed. But anyone who lives by the truth comes to the light, so…[Read more]

LU, let's be clear about something. The reason you and KJ have the view that YHWH is the God of this wicked world is because if it was Satan as most already know, you both would then have to concede to the true meaning of the word 'theos' and thus it would threaten your whole case about Jesus being the Most High Theos.

Gene also needs to add a paragraphs to some scriptures so they fall in line with his view. When I reword a text, but keep its meaning intact, he says I am wrong. When I give him the scripture, he says the scripture is correct, and then adds a paragraph so that it falls in line with his view. The short of it is that we can quote these scriptures and…[Read more]
