So Tim, can you bring yourself to say that you believe in Unicorns?

Quote (TimothyVI @ Feb. 14 2013,11:29)Well let's see T8. The guy cited Ken Ham as a scientist that thinks that the earth is only 6,000 years old, but still believes that Job knew what an Elasmotheriom Sibiricum, an animal that became extinct 50,000 years ago, looked like, and called it a unicorn. That makes perfect sense.Ke?How would he know about…[Read more]

Tim.Facts stand on their own.Does a fact not become a fact because someone you think has no crebility is mentioned. No it has no bearing on the facts.Thinking that it effects it can only mean that you are not being credible because reality doesn't work like that.Like I said, Stu's biggest proof that God doesn't exist to date is that people cannot…[Read more]

Does that mean that Noah could have taken 8 apes with him and then all the apes including humans would have arisen eventually?

Quote (TimothyVI @ Feb. 14 2013,00:39)Hi T8,I actually kind of enjoyed the video. But it lost all credibility when it mentioned Ken Ham and called him a scientist. Calling Ken Ham a scientist is like calling L. Ron Hubbard a prophet.TimOh yeah, that negates all the facts because he said that.

Quote (Stu @ Feb. 13 2013,23:06)But even though “we don't know what it is talking about” nevertheless you are willing to speculate wildly. Yes I can accept that Jesus is my theos in the correct context. I can also accept others as theos in the correct context. Perhaps my guardian angel. However, please note that even though angels are called elohim, I never refer to them as gods, although I could. I only refer to them as gods when debating the legitimate use of the word elohim and…[Read more]

Stu, it is truly not known what animal this is talking about as it could be extinct or it may well have been a Rinocerous or even an extinct Rinocerous. It must be noted that only the AKJV uses the word Unicorn, while others translations use Wild Ox. Quote (Lightenup @ Feb. 12 2013,18:59)No human has a COMPLETE understanding of those words, t8, I'm quite sure. That is no excuse to go around teaching that Jesus Christ is God himself. There is no good excuse for false teaching. Actually their writings also serve as being useful for a different reason too. Some verses have crept into some texts, and often these guys would debate subjects and use all the best scriptures they could muster.Yet some Trinity scriptures we see in the AKJV were not used by supporters of that doctrine suggesting that they were not in their Bibles…[Read more]

Well see that is it right there. If I worship Christ as theos above me, then you could take that to mean that I am saying he is YHWH, when I am absolutely not saying that.So perhaps you can see my reservation is warranted.Just as I do not call angels YHWH, or sons of God YHWH, I can acknowledge that they can be called elohim. Thus it is no…[Read more]

But yeah, like any book, you read it and test it. And the authors of these letters and writings were not perfect. They were just like us.So of course they would have made mistakes just like we do. But I am sure that they also had great insights too.

2besee, my view is that like any generation, they take what they have inherited and take it to the next level or explore it further. But the danger in that is that they can not only stray from the path, but can be more easily misquoted.I think the Trinity Doctrine developed from the original understanding that theos was also divine nature (The…[Read more]
