Quote (mikeboll64 @ Mar. 29 2013,16:21)I guess I'm missing the connection that says Jesus IS Jehovah.Yeah, I keep missing them too and still haven't seen one.I wonder if Kathi thinks why he was called Jesus. What is wrong with YHWH if that is his real name.

All I am saying is the root and shoot or froot has no bearing on whether Jesus is God/YHWH or is God's son instead. A non-issue for that subject.

Colter, the Trinity is not a biblical doctrine, rather a pagan one that was assimilated into Roman Empire Christianity. (Holy Roman Empire.) Remember that Rome was a mixture of Christians and Pagans, with an Emperor (Contantine) who tried to appease both by creating a religion that would appease both all in the name of unity. It is interesting that…[Read more]

Quote (Lightenup @ April 03 2013,17:29)t8,Perhaps you ought to ask Jesus what He meant when He reveals Himself as the Root and Offspring of David and also revealed as the Root of Jesse and not rely on your own understanding. Proclaimer replied to the topic Worship God the Father only? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 13 years, 5 months ago
Jesus is worshipped as the son of God and the Lamb of God in the Bible. Not as God though. It says, God AND the Lamb in Revelation. Worthy is God AND the Lamb that was slain. Something like that.Kathi probably wants it to say that God was slain and is worshipped. But no, the Lamb of God was slain and is considered worthy.

Kathi you are getting all confused over what the Logos was before it was with God. The early fathers taught much on this subject and basically said that the Word Power that was in God was brought forth as the first work.It is quite something else to say that the Word Power in God was a different mind to God, even though it was in him (his mind).I…[Read more]
