After more than 20 years, I’ve finally decided to tell the world what I witnessed in 1991, which I believe was one of the biggest turning point in popular music, and ultimately American society. I have struggled for a long time weighing the pros and cons of making this story public as I was…[Read more]

david, God's people are in Babylon and are told to come out lest they endure judgement along with her. God's people belong to God. God's people have a sprinkling of ministries and gifts. And the timing here is what is important. A person who lives in an age or environment enlightenment is expected to live up to the revelation they have. A person…[Read more]

I have taken leaven to mean the Word/doctrine/religion. Thus we are to partake of the bread from Heaven who is Christ. But the bread of the Pharisees is not the same bread of course. But the Pharisees still exist today, not just in Ultra Orthodox Judaism, but Christianity too.The leaven of the Pharisees was about man-made laws by which the Pharisees…[Read more]

carmel, you represent the Trinity in the usual way. Assumptions based on isolating scriptures and putting these scriptures together to form a picture. You could prove almost anything from the Bible with that method. Most people here have heard all these arguments before and perhaps even believed them at some point. But you need to bring something…[Read more]

Quote (Colter @ April 26 2013,04:02)The ignorance of the anti-preexistence, anti-divinity crowd is that they have God birthing a God jr in Jesus, that our Lord and God became a 30+ carpenter from Nazareth, who floated off into heaven and now has “all power and authority in heaven and on earth.”The UB philosophy is superior to the Catholics…[Read more]

Apply your words to yourself because I never said that the UB teaches Christmas or Easter. What I said was that the Trinity was right up there with Christmas and…[Read more]

If a popsical is 90% something water, and a cloud is 100% water (excluding pollutants), then surely popsicals evolved from clouds right?

Kerwin, the point is that there are plenty of fossils for the first and last. But the in between ones are basically a jaw bone here, a thigh bone there. That alone should make you think about this hypothesis.

The fact that the UB picked up the Trinity to me shows this is of man. Scripture doesn't teach the Trinity, paganism does. The Trinity is not a biblical doctrine. It is a doctrine that came later when Paganism and Christianity merged aspects of each other with the aid of a Roman Emperor who tried very hard and succeeded in bringing his subjects…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ April 17 2013,14:15)Why not? Apparently, every translator in the history of the world disagrees with you – since they all translate that as “ye are gods” – not “ye have certain God-like qualities”. But the point is not the language but what “ye are gods” means in Greek. It has a qualitative meaning. How the Greek Article is U…[Read more]

John 1:1http://www.columbia.edu/cu/augustine/arch/sbrandt/john1_1.htmAs it reads, this verse seems to be a contradiction. How can the Word be God and yet also be with God? Many try and suggest that John is expressing a paradox here, but this is not the case. The translation “the Word was God” loses an aspect of the Greek that is important for…[Read more]

Quote (mikeboll64 @ April 17 2013,14:15)T8, I don't get it. Do you seriously believe that there exist only TWO Gods – Jehovah and Satan?Mike. There are two who are the originators of all that we see. One is Yahweh who is the only one who is good and the other is Satan, who is the Father of lies and a murderer from the beginning. Satan wanted to…[Read more]

carmel, water has a fourth state. But yeah I understand your point. But that point is that God is three states and one substance. The example cannot equate to three persons though. No example I know of shows us three persons as one being. A three person being made of the same substance? Says who?

I agree with T Ed J. When a person resorts to technicalities like you are doing with T's English as a second language predicament, and Mike's upbringing, I think you do that to sway against T's and Mike's clear words here. There was no need for it. It shows what is in your heart though. My wife's language is Spanish and English is her second…[Read more]

Quote (david @ April 23 2013,15:37)T8, according to kerwin, if you claim to be a teacher and teach false doctrine, then you are a false teacher. One who teaches others is a teacher regardless of what someone claims or doesn't claim.)But anyway, either you or kerwin would seem…[Read more]

Quote (jb2u @ April 22 2013,12:11)This is true. What you say does not contradict that which I have said. However, it does contradict the idea that Jesus is YHWH God!!
