Let’s see. We have from the above translations:
- created
- made
- came into being
- received
- happened
The most popular word is made and I think second place goes to created. A number of translations say something to the tube of ‘come into being, but they are the minority. So created and made is what I believe it is saying. As for being, I wikied…[Read more]

Christ is much more than you make out Gene.
- While we may attain fullness in Christ, he has the fullness of God;
- We may sit with Christ on his throne, he sits with God on his throne;
- While we are the branches, he is the vine;
- While we may be sons of God, he is THE son of God;
- While we are made in God’s image, he is THE image of God.
- While we…

By the way, I cannot find that debate we had regarding this subject. Do you know where it is exactly? Perhaps we can continue there as this subject may be helpful for this topic, but it is somewhat taking over from that topic.

I did explain it. He was begotten not created. Both bring about existence, one directly from, the other via the Word. Jesus as the Word of God was begotten. Whereas you and me were created, that is, our coming to exist is not by being born directly of God, but by God through the Word and then further being begotten of our parents.
We are…[Read more]

John 1:3 NRSV ©
All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.The Greek text says all things âcame into existenceâ through him, and apart from him ânothing came into existenceâ.
Lots of questions could be asked here. Does a robot exist?
I feel you are trying to blur the meaning of created and begotten…[Read more]

we are those that have believed in their message but are not redeemed from the earth but will live under his rule on earth ,

You should be more worried about worshiping the Beast and receiving his IMAGE, which is the false IMAGE Â he created of Jesus being a preexistent GOD. Â That is his MARK many have already received into their foreheads or minds.
That means we are free to take an ID mark for the purposes of buying and selling if that is ever offered or mandated.

t8, did the Word come into existence when he was begotten by God?
It matters not regarding the two scriptures I give you. I believe he came into existence by God, but I am asking you for an explanation as to how you can keep these two scripture from contradicting your view that is all. I have already explained my view to you. That to be created is…[Read more]

Okay terraricca, if we accept that the Word is created, then these two scriptures have to be wrong.
John 1:1-3
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.Â
2 He was with God in the beginning.Â
3 Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.Â

I will make it even simpler for you @Mikeboll64
Q: Was the Word created?
If you say yes, then you have a problem as to how the Word was created through the Word.
If you say no, and if Jesus is the Word, then you admit that he was not created.

So if the scripture says âEVERYTHINGâ was created through Jesus/The Word, then isnât it equally clear that Jesus/The Word is EXCLUDED from the âEVERYTHINGâ?
I will explain it again so you don’t overlook it.
You believe Jesus was made/created. He is a created being thus he was created.
But we are clearly told that ALLÂ that was created/ma…[Read more]

Read 1 Cor 8:6. It is the same âALL THINGSâ that came from God which also came through our Lord, Jesus Christ. Now since itâs clear that God Himself is NOT one of the âALL THINGSâ…

The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,
This is how we are one with God. By our spirits being united with his Spirit.
It is this union that is eternal life. Rivers of life flowing from our inner most being.Proclaimer replied to the topic in the forum Free Will? 12 years, 3 months ago
It is very clear from scriptures that we have free will
Note how many promises of God begin with âifâ or âwhosoeverâ
How many incredible promises are available that should we choose to believe them, our lives would truly glorify God
Agreed. Some would have us believe that this doesn’t actually mean anything.

the problems. And then death,and then the judgement.
And then ,the lake of fire.
