Yes Nick, the Lord God of Israel has been called Jehovah of hosts. Both Father and Son are eternal beings and both have the name Jehovah which appropriately demonstrates the eternalness of existence.
I count two eternal gods in that statement.
Further, you stated that you do not teach that two beings are merged as one God.
You teach two Gods, but…[Read more]Proclaimer replied to the topic Proclaimer vs Lightenup in the forum Debates 12 years, 1 month ago
You said “God is an eternal Spirit.”
I agree. I also believe that the Son is the eternal offspring part of that eternal spirit being.
lol. Is the devil is in the detail?
Jesus is the offspring of the eternal God, the firstborn of all creation. It doesn’t say the eternal offspring of the eternal God or the never born of all creation. First bor…[Read more]

No, not sleeping on the job. Just more important things than discussing the Binity Doctrine. But will continue to dialogue.

When the son and God are merged into one being, it insults God and it denies the son his unique identity. It offends both.
The first commandment is broken and the foundation that Jesus built his Church on is also attacked.

Yes I have heard of Lord Rayel. Amazing that anyone would even pretend to be the messiah. What is the point of that. They will be judged for their deception. Not a good idea.

We know that there is one God the Father. He is the true God.
But we also acknowledge that theos/elohim are used to describe others including idols, men, angels, Satan, and Jesus. Believe it or not, even an earthquake is described as elohim. This is reality. You can read these other theos/elohim examples in scripture for yourself. @GeneBalthrop,…[Read more]

E=MC². Everyone’s heard of it, but what does it mean? And why did it change the world. A dramatization of how an obscure young patent clerk, Albert Einstein came up with his shattering discovery that the realms of matter and energy are inescapably linked.

Men worship God in different ways. Newton acknowledged that the Universe was created by God. And he set about know as much as he could about what God had created. If you think about it. He showed appreciation for that which God made and he gave God all the glory. Unlike most people, he sat on some of the greatest scientific discoveries of all time…[Read more]

This guy talks about how we cannot choose our thoughts. But free will doesn’t mean we control our thoughts or options in life. It simply means that of the options presented to us (including our thoughts) that we can independently choose our responses to these options.
If for example I think about sinning, but then decide to not do that in favour…[Read more]

Many today say that humans do not have true free will. They argue that free will is an illusion and our choices are dependent on our biology, circumstances, and randomness. This kind of thinking leads to one place. That no one is really responsible for their actions. So if I was to have all my atoms replaced by that of a murder, then I would be…[Read more]

Cool.
Have you noticed that there are two tabs in the top-right of the posting window?
Visual and Text
If you put your code into the text tab it will execute the code.
If you put it in visual mode it will show the code itself because Visual mode is like using MS Word.

Sorry, but I have had this view for decades. It hasn’t changed.
So if you think I am beginning to see the truth, then why have you opposed the same view in the past?

But I personally have not read any of your posts on salvation. So from my point of view so far, you do not preach the gospel.

The scriptures clearly say, God created the Heavens and the Earth. It then says that the Earth was formless and void.
It doesn’t explain the interim period of God creating the Earth and the formless and void state.
We can imagine all kinds of possibilities with this terse amount of information, so explaining it is only speculation at…[Read more]

Further, the word forever means age which is the word ‘eon’.
This is why you see the term forever and ever. Technically speaking if ‘forever’ meant ‘eternal’, then you would not need to say ‘forever and ever’.Forever and ever means for an age and an age.
The Great Judgement and Lake of Fire takes place after this age and the Millennial Age.

God has been doing many things before we (man) turned up. There have been ages and epochs before us. Even the Earth has had many a transformation. Remember, in Genesis, man was the last to turn up.
to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen.

T8……..The difference is the word God does not describe a person, it describes a relationship to something. I have posted before what the original Hebrew word for God meant.
