Hi Gene. I am taking you to the Hot Seat regarding your teaching that there is no free will.
I will ask you a question, and you must answer or get booted from the forums.
Then you can ask me a question and if I do not answer, then I have to boot myself from the forums.
If you do not want to ask me a question in return, then I am free to ask…[Read more]

I have to disagree with one or two of you here.
The ancient texts including the Dead Sea Scrolls show us that our Bibles are pretty accurate. With such a wealth of texts, it is not that hard to spot additions, mistakes, and translational errors. No other books have such a wealth of manuscripts and texts to draw upon.
When these books are copied…[Read more]

Um yes, are you serious. lol. The Ottoman Empire ended in 1924 after 500 or so years. Are you reading my posts properly? What gives you the idea that I think it is still around. Please some well thought out and and interesting conversation on these topics. Otherwise what is the point in discussing it.

If you go to the bottom of any page in that topic or any other topic, you can see an area where you make a post. Posts are appended to the last page, so the first post in the topic is the earliest post with latest being the last.

There is no way ISIS can be the beast because it is a new thing. The Ottoman empire is still existent as it is Turkey. It is reduced in size so it is hard to say it is an Empire and there has been a change in government so dynasties are a thing of the past.
Your not paying attention. I am not saying ISIS is the Beast. Rather that the clim…[Read more]

Anyway, I am not sure that we resolved an earlier question of mine.
You said you agree that you believe John 17:3
“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”
I have to call this one out. You do not believe that the Father is the only true God. You believe that he along with J…[Read more]

Notice that wisdom is an attribute like the others mentioned here.
“I, wisdom, dwell with prudence,
and I find knowledge and discretion.
13 The fear of the Lord is hatred of evil.
Pride and arrogance and the way of evil
and perverted speech I hate.A change in tune. Wisdom is brought forth, something you say that Jesus was and is.

The Israelites are also God’s people, but many times they have turned away from God and suffered great judgement.
He has not abandoned them, but we are grafted into the tree, while they are the natural branches.
God still has plans for them and Israel is his country and Jerusalem where the son will rule when the kingdoms of this world have all fallen.

I watched half an hour of this. It is late and have to go to bed.
So far not convinced that the British Empire is part of the Beast even if was is still powerful and rich.
The empires that made up the Beast all came from the same part of the world and oppressed and/or ruled over God’s people, the Jews.

Do you believe the wisdom of God to have a source? In other words, do you believe that God, at one point, did not have wisdom or did the wisdom of God always exist?
Wisdom, logos, life, love, charity, mercy, truth, and light are attributes of God. Sometimes they are spoken of in a feminine sense when referring to God’s own attributes.
So when the…[Read more]

As we have gone over and over, a begettel of a son does not imply the beginning of an existence of a son. A begettal can simply mean ‘to bring forth’ as in birth. Even you existed as a living being before you were begotten from your mother.
That is not why I quoted this. But while you are here, it doesn’t say that the son has always been. Far fro…[Read more]
