Kathi, you are asking me to delete their comments because it is against the rules, yet you break the rules by not answering yes or no to my question which by the way can be answered with a yes or no.
By this I know your answer is of the evil one.

Kerwin, if not Islam that ruled the Middle East for 500 years with an antichrist religion and law, conquered the previous empire in like pattern as previous heads of the beast, then what is the empire that is prophesied as the seventh that dies and comes back later as the eighth? Remember that the Antichrist will honor a god of fortresses, a god…[Read more]

I haven’t had time to check these out, but these are some references to the great sea that I found on Biblehub.
Numbers 34:6,7
And as for the western border, you shall even have the great sea for a border: this shall be your west border.Joshua 1:4

There are many groups today that are trying to bring about a caliphate. ISIL, al Qaeda, Boko Haram, Hamas, to name a few. Where there is a will there is a way. It only takes a strong leader to organise them into one. It is foolish to underestimate what is going on around the Great Sea today.

The Tuatara is a distinct order of reptile, the only two species of its kind which scientists say flourished around 200 million years ago, its main food source is the Weta a very strange looking insect that is obviously also ancient. They are pretty scary looking too and seem to jump on you when you least expect.
So ancient is the Tuatara that i…[Read more]

Seems pretty convincing Seekingtruth. It could still mean the dry land and life in the known world, but the traditional view of planet wide seems more likely. Would like to study the original language though. Can’t do that now as I am off on holiday. See you in a week.

Good points Gene. Another thing to consider is the land broke apart after the flood. In one sense that backs up the whole planet, but it also does not, because mountains got bigger when the land broke apart or the plates collided.

Female deities were rated quite highly in Paganism Trinities and as goddesses.
To name a few there is the Queen of Heaven, the Mother of God, and Diana.

from my limited understanding most ancient texts say 666 with a smaller group saying 616. I am not sure which are older and if the 616 translations are the earliest. I think the Dead Sea Scrolls say 666, but would need to check that. I have never read anywhere that the those scrolls say 616.
Would be good to know what the earliest scroll or…[Read more]

Thanks for those verses Princess.
Gene, if scriptures use “the whole Earth” to define the land that they knew about, then we have to be open to that phrase also meaning that in other parts of scripture, even the flood.
Of course we have to be open to it also meaning the planet. As kerwin said, context is important.
Personally speaking I would…[Read more]

Then it seems you are not saying Allah is literally a god of fortresses?
I don’t know where you get that idea. It is written that way in scripture. Some translations say forces, some say fortress, others say stronghold. Try to imagine what is being conveyed here. Whatever word you take, it doesn’t rule out Islam. It could be considered a mighty f…[Read more]
