t8,
Islam does not prohibit use of the word Father to refer to God. They also claim God has many sons. They do not except the idea that Jesus was the offspring of God’s body. I do not even think they agree with your idea as it is equivalent of claiming Jesus is the bodily child of God.
Scripture says that the Antichrist spirit denies the Father a…[Read more]

If Jesus is God and the son of God, then by reason of the Trinity Doctrine, the Father who is also God (I agree) must then be the Father of God.
One God three persons basically says:
God the Father
God the Son
God the Holy Spirit
&
The Father of God
The Son of God
The Spirit of God.Why is the Father not the Father of God if all…[Read more]

t8 uses a lot of stolen arguments to bolster his false doctrine…he takes this verse (out of context) because it is the same one Arius used to try and deny the trinity centuries ago..
@DavidL, are you aware that the measure you judge is the same that you will be judged by. You say that I steal Arius’s argument.
Please list exactly the argument I…[Read more]

To be fair, you do not believe in the Father because your book says God has no son. Thus to adhere to your book, you have to deny the Father and Son. If there is no Son, there is no Father.

Bod has a good point above.
The Trinity Doctrine is wrong and leads to other false assumptions DavidL.

Well I guess the obvious thing to state is that we should not say people are false prophets unless we know that they have prophesied falsely. After all the definition of a false prophet is that they are not a true prophet, yet they prophesy as if they were a prophet.
From the little I have researched on the guy he has been spot on. He prophesied…[Read more]

The Bible is not an end in itself, but a means to bring men to an intimate and satisfying knowledge of God, that they may enter into Him, that they may delight in His Presence, may taste and know the inner

Your second point is an interesting one.
Lord YHWH and Lord Jesus.
Lord is not the same word as I understand it.
LORD = YHWH in the Old Testament and Lord is Kurios in the New Testament.
Many think that translating YHWH into LORD was a silly idea as it confuses things. I tend to see their point.
Why not just translate as YHWH?
The Lord…[Read more]

Hi Andrew. With regards to the first part of your post.
God is love and he doesn’t need anyone to be more perfect or help to run things.
But he delights in others because God is love and love is a shared experience.
So he delegates authority from the son who has authority over all things, down to archangels, angels, world leaders, parents, etc.…[Read more]

I confront you over your teaching on the trinity – because you’ve got things back to front…your foundation is NOT Scripture but the study of Catholic doctrine..
It is you who is backward here. I teach that for us there is one God the Father who is the true God and who sent his son. This is scripture and I have quoted these scriptures many tim…[Read more]

I guess if you tell yourself that enough t8, you’ll actually start believing it – but is it really true..?
DavidL, let’s be frank. You are behaving the same way the Pharisees did with Jesus. Did the Pharisees persecute Jesus for his radical teachings? Yes. You are no different. Call it what you want, but you oppose me because I quote and tea…[Read more]
