How can I ask you this question?
I use my mouth verbally or keyboard to type it.
Face it. It is either true or false. Which one is it?

(2a)You might not like his answer, because you say it sounds more like a “no” than a “yes”.
And I even agree with you, it does sound more like a “no” then a “yes”.EdJ, you may be naive, but people will dodge being honest and will never exhaust strategies that allow them to dodge yes and no. If you give them an inch they take a mile. You are a…[Read more]

2) The problem is, one which you are failing to recognize, is you are attempting change the rules (after-the-fact).
I specifically asked for a yes or no in a post so his position was clear and the question was fair. When people say: ‘yes but…’ or ‘yes in this sense and no in another’, then I haven’t received a yes or a no. The question was a…[Read more]

1) I fully agree with your position that Jesus was born Christ. so obviously I did not
enter into this thread to argue Nick’s position in his stead. It is rather silly for you to even suggest such.I was referring to any communication between you and Nick and the possibility that you are posting for him (proxy).

Did you at any stage of your life believe that you were a biblical character?
Yes / No
Proclaimer replied to the topic Please prove Ed J is a biblical character in the forum The Hot Seat 9 years, 11 months ago
My gut feeling is “yes”, but I have never thought about it before and so haven’t looked into it. Now that you mention it, it seems like it may well be.
As for Nick. The question was simple. It was not a prophetic question. It was just a basic question relating to the text and he couldn’t say ‘yes’ even though the text said so.

I don’t know.

Ed J, we never or at least I never heard which character you claim to be. Do you still claim to be a biblical character from another time?

When you can’t sleep at night,
have you ever thought
maybe it’s God saying
“We need to talk and
you now have time”.

Revelation 2:12-14
“And to the angel of the church in Pergamum write: The One who has the sharp two-edged sword says this: ‘I know where you dwell, where Satan’s throne is; and you hold fast My name, and did not deny My faith even in the days of Antipas, My witness, My faithful one, who was killed among you, where Satan dwells. Is this true or not?

IF the language treats a nation like a person then it also will not exclude the nation from being called ‘THEM’ etc. Even your post shows this.
But if God was truly just the Father as Paul and Jesus taught, then there would be no ‘THEM / THEY’ references such as we see in scripture.
And if God like your example was figuratively spoken of as a…[Read more]

It is suffice to say that you missed the point of my post. I was not saying that the unity of Father and Son were a family. I was pointing out to you that within a unity, there can be one person that is head of another person and those persons can be together as head over all the other members and also that those top two persons in authority can…

If scripture and testimony in scripture state that he was born the Lord, savior, and messiah, then that is what he is. As for son of God, that is a good question. But it seems reasonable to assume that he would be if God was his Father.

I wasn’t addressing you specifically. When it comes to prophecy, it would be arrogant of me to say this is what it means. But to those who seek, we can honestly say, ‘perhaps this’ or ‘could be that’. I think when people are arrogant, they say: ‘the prophecy means this’ while others just don’t care and don’t have an opinion while not listening to…[Read more]

God does indeed place leaders but that doesn’t mean that he places every leader. Read the following in Daniel 4:17:
“This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones; to the intent that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will, and setteth up…[Read more]
