I’m glad we are talking about Genesis because this seems to be one of the main reasons for believing in a Flat Earth. I believe that Genesis doesn’t rule out either model and if I or we can prove this, then it will boil down solely to science.
This discussion needs to take place here because the focus of these forums is scripture and the Flat…[Read more]

Mike: “But in 1980, Carl Sagan told millions of TV viewers that the difference Eratosthenes recorded in the shadows could ONLY happen on a ball. And those people and their kids have been repeating this lie ever since.”
And would be true if the sun were distant as is widely accepted.

Okay, I photoshopped mine to get it to look as good as the other one. Not even close.

Hey Mike, I found a competing photo to my one, so mine is not so special after all. I feel sad now. The linked news article confirms the vantage point and subject.

Now compare to mine.

t8, I get that. I have a problem with Mike calling Sagan a liar. Neil doesn’t call him a liar. Sagan was actually on to the truth and could have used a third well to satisfy the theory. Neil goes on to satisfy the theory of a spherical earth anyway through the rest of the video.
That’s basically my view too. Regardless, if Sagan was lying, isn’t t…[Read more]

LU, Mike knows that Neil is not a Flat Earther. He is using this guy to disprove Carl Sagan’s earlier assertion that the experiment proved the world was not flat. Neil is correctly saying that the experiment actually works on a Flat Earth too, but that Carl failed to mention this in his video thereby deceiving people for 40 or so years. However,…[Read more]

But in 1980, Carl Sagan told millions of TV viewers that the difference Eratosthenes recorded in the shadows could ONLY happen on a ball.
Okay, I see the issue. Is it possible that Carl Sagan assumed a distant sun as the Globe model has? If so, then he would be right. But Neil points out that IF THE SUN IS CLOSE then you can get the same result…[Read more]

His experiment showed that the Earth could be round and if so, he gave the circumference. Wasn’t Neil the one in the video that said that a Flat Earth could also produce this result? So at least he is honest about that. But his real point is a third well proves the Globe Earth and dispels the Flat Earth. Are you disagreeing with this?

Mike, I am not sure what the issue is with that well experiment. I watched your Youtube video and commented on it regarding this.
So it was established that the 2 wells would produce a similar shadow regardless of a round or flat earth. The person who ran the experiment showed that the Earth could be round, but if it works on the Flat Earth,…[Read more]

My guess is Flat Earthers will show that it is the utmost distance from the sun as the edge is too, the same reason as the globe earth is cold at the poles. Further, I guess you could argue that God never mentioned the continent of Antarctica either.
What I have found is they have answers to the most common questions asked.

Yes Nick, it is my site. But I only ask that we be civil, nice, helpful, and loving toward one another. You should know by now that differences of opinion are fine. Atheists and Muslims are allowed here after all.
This is a platform to test all things that try to ascend above the doctrine of Christ and true knowledge. And scripture encourages us…[Read more]

Hi T8,
When did I threaten to leave the site?
Just to make your day?
Pay attention Nick. Not listening or dialoguing with Mike, yet you continue to do so.
No I have not given up on you yet and neither has My Father.
Now you sound like a cult leader. I go direct to God Nick through the one true mediator. We do not need you or need to believe…[Read more]

Did God say that He made the earth before the sun?
Where does it say that. Of course that is possible, but want to know what you are referencing, even though I already have a good idea.

Mike, yes I saw this story on the news the other day. My opinion is its inevitable because the vast majority of countries sit in or on a continent, so impossible to leave out unless you miss a whole continent. However, we don’t have it as bad as Tasmania. Even Australia forgets to add…[Read more]

Nick keeps threatening to leave and not participate, but always comes back for more. Lol. I bet he continues dialogue here. Let’s see.

I forgot about this. I should watch the entire second video.

I will also point out that the video appears to be showing Australia taking up the majority of that entire half of the globe – with no other body of land (besides Antarctic) in sight. There is no NZ, but I guess you guys are used to that, based on what I’ve been reading about you being left off a bunch of world maps lately. 🙂 But there is…

Fantastic! Shall we go through your video point by point… or through Anthony’s written version? I imagine the written version would be easier, as I can copy and paste each claim, and then address it.
Yes, let’s do that.

Yes that is important. Growing claws gives ammunition for those that believe in Evolution.
