When the woman saw that the fruit of the tree was good for food and pleasing to the eye, and also desirable for gaining wisdom, she took some and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her, and he ate it.
That ticks one box.
Out of the ground the LORD God caused to grow every tree that is pleasing to the sight and good for food;…[Read more]

Okay, let’s call this layer you describe “L-5”. L-4 has more pressure than L-5, so what’s keeping the air in L-4 pressurized when L-5 is basically a vacuum?
First off this is correct because you can actually test the decreasing PSI of air as you gain altitude without relying on NASA. So whether the Earth is a globe or a flat disk, this is a fa…[Read more]

The fact is that the stripes on the flag ARE disappearing, but the boat is clearly NOT going over some curved horizon.
That’s like saying that 70 storeys of a 100 storey building being visible doesn’t prove the curve because the basic shape looks about right. First off, a boat does go below water level regardless, and if 1 foot of the boat is…[Read more]

You still haven’t answered why the vacuum of space stops at the thin upper atmosphere. What keeps it from proceeding further? The way you make it sound it’s like the vacuum gets to our atmosphere and says, “well, not much here, I suppose I’ll just stop looking”.
Pay attention Dig. First off, it does interact. Secondly, the interaction is tiny b…[Read more]

Also think about things that have higher PSI than sea level. A fire extinguisher or a car tyre. When there is a breach, what happens?
Now imagine a container that has air pressure at slight more of less the PSI of air at sea level. What happens if that container has a breach at seal level? Nothing spectacular right.
It’s simple physics. Near…[Read more]

You can’t even go to JESUS, UNLESS THE Father draws you. According to Jesus .
True, but what if all men were drawn?
“But I, when I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to myself.”
The thing is I am not arguing that all men are drawn at the same time, although that would be God’s prerogative. But there are seasons at least. At some…[Read more]

It’s not hard to comprehend Gene. You can choose among the influences. If there is no influence then you choose nothing. There is more than one influence and that is what you choose among. Be led by the Spirit or fulfill the lusts of the flesh. Both influence you. Serve God not mammon. One will reward you eternally the other temporarily. Just…[Read more]

It’s no secret that a vacuum is not some kind of force, it is just mostly nothing. And what do we observe when there is nothing, we’ll something fills the void. And if a vacuum is next to a vacuum then still nothing. Now put air pressure next do it and create an opening between the two and the something will fill the nothing.
By logical…[Read more]

You are free to choose because God made it that way from the beginning. He placed two trees in the garden and both were compelling and beautiful.
And are we not constantly reminded to CHOOSE this day who we will serve. We can either be led by the Spirit or fulfill the lusts of the flesh. We can serve God or money. We can feed the hungry or not…[Read more]

As usual, we are not on the same page.
These are kingdoms of the world and the stone that strikes the statue is the Kingdom of God.

Yes God predestined for the Elect.
I imagine he also predestined that at some point his son would need to lay his life down. After all, it is inevitable that an age would rebel against God at some point. God is not ignorant. He gave free will to his beings, so he obviously had a plan since the foundation of the world to deal with that when it…[Read more]

Yes I do see that there will be suffering for the wicked, but we are told about a second death which seems to be a final death. It is this that makes one realise that God will not permit souls to suffer for all eternity. There will be an end to suffering and sin and a new creation will arise where these things will be no more.

What is clear is God spared man from living for all eternity by blocking access to the Tree of Life. And God will save our souls but not all souls will be saved. As for annihilation , we see some verses that speak along that line.
“For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, thou shalt diligently consider his place, and it shall no…[Read more]

The Ordinary Brigade never quote the verses I gave because they contradict. They only quote them when they have been asked for an explanation, and the explanation given is a denial of what the scripture says. So yes, you guys cherry pick rather than take the full counsel of scripture and learn from them all. The true picture that appears from all…[Read more]

Such thinking should start at home first. Once you know the Spirit you will have love for your fellow man. From there, you will be useful to God and will be able to give the correct word to others. Satan the Accuser lacks this and so do his children. There is correction in love and there is endless criticism and accusation. Do not be confused,…[Read more]

Your own understanding is at play here. Yes we know that God is spirit and the Father of spirits and that angels are spirits. Saying that the Word is the Spirit of God is stretching too far toward your own understanding because it doesn’t say that at least not in the verse you bring up.

We are told the Word became flesh and dwelt among us and then we are told that the son is back in the glory he had with the Father before the cosmos. We are told God created all things through the Word and through the Son. Then we notice that it is written that when he returns, he has a name, the Word of God. Draw your own conclusion.
