Nick, if we threw away scripture for the private interpretations of prophecy we would be part of the problem. Christianity is rife with this sort of thing. Taking a stand against it is good.

This Spirit Nick talks about a lot convinced him that Jesus was not the Christ in the City of David. It also convinced him that Jesus in the Bible is not the Christ, only Jesus Christ is. But we are told that there is indeed a spirit that denies that Jesus is the Christ. Thankfully, we have scripture to help us expose lying spirits.

God and Jesus are one as the children of God are one and one with Christ and one with God.
When a man and a woman become one it is one in unity, not unit or one being.
Likewise being one with God does not make you God and never will.
