So why do you suppose millions of people have circumnavigated the earth east and west, but NOBODY – in the entire history of the world – has EVER circumnavigated our “globe” north and south? Hmm…
Too easy. Because it is inhospitable.
The further south you go in NZ the colder it becomes (generally). So it stands to reason that if you head sout…[Read more]

It is Jesus, not me, who said the stars will fall to the earth in the end days.
Read my post again. I am questioning your assumption that every single star will fall to earth literally.
The text doesn’t say that.

So “air” is “the firmament”? Is that what you’re attempting to claim?
I’m saying it could be the atmosphere if the definition is it separates water from water.
But by that definition, it could also be space itself. Water is not only found here on earth, but is or on many other celestial objects. Comets are mostly water ice for example.…[Read more]

It’s not about saying “God!” It’s about doing evil in God’s name.

I was referring to God’s people in America. Obviously that is not all Americans.

I find it ironic that people get upset when you call America great. People get triggered. Yet many of these haters of America want to live there or live there and wouldn’t live anywhere else.
Case in point. Many Hollywood elites said they would move to Canada if Trump got elected. I don’t know of one that went through with it.
And when they…[Read more]

T8, why is it that every time I refute you with Scripture you come back with the exact same argument that was debunked and more importantly – without any scriptural support? This is really shameful!
I want to prove your statement here is wrong. Please provide me the details and I’ll look into it.

Sorry, I should have said that stars are sometimes interpreted as angels. But you should have got that anyway based on my other posts.

Rev 1:20 As for the mystery of the seven stars which you saw in My right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: the seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches.
Exactly. So if there doesn’t happen to be an interpretation for whatever reason such as shutting the words up till the end, then yo…[Read more]

Why then do you conclude that a literal 1/3 of the sun, moon and stars will cease to shine? What part of the language can you claim to support your position? What other than your agenda dictates your position?
Please pay attention and read my posts properly. I never said that. Show me where if that’s what you think I said.

t8, why make up your own agenda when the Scripture is very clear when it is an allegory or literal?
In verse 8 it is “like” a mountain, meaning it is not a mountain but like one.So the stars falling from Heaven cannot be angels despite it saying elsewhere that the stars are angels?
And because the following doesn’t say ‘like’, it is then liter…[Read more]

Can you at leat agree that stars are sometimes metaphorical for angels? Like the morning star may be a planet or light in the sky, but is also a person.
Think about it Dig, truth is an attribute of God right, but that to is a person.
You seem to lack the understanding for reading scripture. If everything is as literal as you allude to, then even…[Read more]

It seems the points I have made have gone right over your head. I’m not surprised however as you believe the earth is flat despite much knowledge to the contrary and the fact that the Bible doesn’t teach it.
The conclusion I draw from your posts is you are not interested in the truth because I have given you time and dedication in trying to help…[Read more]

t8, did you notice the metaphoric language in the above Scripture?
Your getting the idea. Did you also notice the metaphorical language with one-third of the stars and angels?
Proclaimer replied to the topic Mikeboll's belief in a flat world in the forum View Points 6 years, 10 months ago
It was a vision. Please read the Bible with understanding!
So one-third of the stars falling to earth was NOT a vision? And if both were a vision, then your point here is moot.

Like I said Dig, besides a huge meteor shower or other celestial objects falling to the earth, it could also be the following:
The earth could move out of it place or sway like a drunkard. Even the slightest erratic movement would see the stars move.
We know that one third of the stars fall to earth and that could be a reference to angels.
His…[Read more]
