Some verses that use the word demon/s.Matthew 8:31The demons begged Jesus, “If you drive us out, send us into the herd of pigs.”Only minds can beg. Forces of nature do not say things like this.Matthew 9:34But the Pharisees said, “It is by the prince of demons that he drives out demons.” A prince or principality is a person with authority.Mark…[Read more]

Quote (itsme @ Aug. 31 2004,04:54)hey.  yeah, the only thing i was saying is that to be actually saved and be glorifying the Lord, you can't only have faith, but you can't only have works either.  It requires both together, but faith comes before the works.  but you still need both of them.I totally agree :D

Quote (ringo111 @ Sep. 01 2004,02:01)I personally believe “the book of enoch” to be insane ramblings of a sataniscally influenced person. With direct borrowing of other scriptures. Having borrowed from the origonal book. Or many books. For if angels were able to have sex, then people would be having demonic children all the time!!!Satan is…[Read more]

It may have already been mentioned but the Book of Enoch goes into great detail regarding the Sons of God who left their abodes and took for themselves many wives.https://www.heavennet.net/writings/enoch.htm

Just some food for thought regarding Genesis 6:4The Nephilim were on the earth in those days-and also afterward-when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown.Could be way off track and I am very sceptical with the following, but I read somewhere once that Hercules as a legend…[Read more]

I am starting to sway toward the idea of being more accessible in cyberspace. I suppose if the site is divided up correctly it could cater for all people. Unbelievers, believers and those pioneering believers who may make big break throughs for the church.Perhaps each category could be administered by different people. What are your guys thoughts…[Read more]

I agree that there could me more people here and some better links and perhaps some good Search Engine placements. But I think there is also a danger of the mission of this forum being drowned out by those who love to argue in order to win for their egos sake while giving little attention to truth itself.E.g., I made some posts on…[Read more]

Just a thought: The fiery stones mentioned in verse 14, could be the planets. It bit far out perhaps, but it is generally accepted that planets suitable for life must be hot inside. Cold planets are thought to be unsuitable for life and are generally barren like the moon. Imagine if the angels were able to explore Gods universe. There are…[Read more]

Ezekiel 282 Son of man, say to the ruler of Tyre+12 Son of man, take up a lament concerning the king of TyreI think that Ezekiel 28 is a prophecy against 2 persons/beings, not 1 . One is the ruler and the other is the king. Perhaps they are both men, but I think that the first one is a man and the second is an angel. The second person is described…[Read more]

Here are some scriptures that teach that Christ is different to God. The first one is from Christ himself, so who are we to argue with him?John 14:1″Do not let your hearts be troubled. Who and what Jesus is, is important. What Jesus said about himself is what we should be hearing. What other say he is we shouldn't listen to.John 10:14 “I am the good shepherd,…[Read more]

Quote (Is 1:18 @ Aug. 19 2004,11:04)Is this a safe position to take on Christ? The truth is the safe path, not formulas or doctrines of men.Scripture is safe if read or translated correctly. This is why I tend to teach and listen to scripture. If someone rattles off a doctrine without scriptural backup or if it contradicts scripture, then I cannot…[Read more]

Hi nate, I tend to think along these lines myself, because Babylon the city was destroyed forever and Mystery Babylon cannot be talking about that city. So I think it is her influence that lives on. Saddam even tried to rebuild it and got part of the way there and then the Gulf War. So I guess God meant what he said when she would be destroyed.Yes…[Read more]

I don't have a problem with scholars, it's just that they do not dictate truth to me. They are fallible as you and I are, so they should be only part of our search for truth and interpretation of scripture. The most important thing is that we are led by the Spirit of God and secondly that we actually read scripture through the eyes of innocense.…[Read more]
