To RR, Quote I will defend what I believe just as you will defend what you believe. But you are not defending what you believe by walking away. But we should always have an answer for what we believe. If we do not, then we should be open to change as we admit by not having an answer that we are not sure and complete in our understanding of what is…[Read more]

To Adam Pastor, But that still doesn't answer the dilema that if the Logos is a part of God's mind, and the flesh is what the Logos became, then Jesus is nothing more than flesh. At least we have a soul that resides in our flesh. It is our soul that God saves and we are also transformed with a spiritual body and we partake of the divine nature.…[Read more]

To Adam Pastor,Quote (Adam Pastor @ Nov. 09 2004,19:10)“The logos is the mind of God. Jesus is the embodiment of the mind of God. He is the logos made flesh – through the Holy Spirit…What preexists is God’s word or wisdom, God’s spirit andGod’s self (the Father)”Let's assume that this is true. That the Logos/logos is the embodiment of the mind of…[Read more]

I am the root and the offspring of David, the bright and morning star.” Why bother with genealogy if it was not an important factor to knowing who the Messiah was when he came. To RR, Hey this is good. You are actually giving a reason for what you believe. I cannot complain about that. I will go through it to see if I can learn something or challenge it to see if it is so.Also I mentioned it once before, but I can tell that you do not agree with me defending scripture and putting away Global and others using scripture.…[Read more]

To RR,Just to clear this up, I do not believe that Yahshua created the world, but that the world was created through him as scripture declares. Also I do not advocate giving up, or saying oh well we are too far apart to have meaningful dialogue. I think this is how some fall into error and as Nick said, how does this show that you love…[Read more]

An amazing book to read, giving revelation on the church is the The Shepherd of Hermas. The Shepherd of Hermas was one of the most popular books produced in the early Church, and for a time it was frequently quoted and regarded as inspired. The text of the Shepherd has not been well preserved. Only 3 incomplete Greek manuscripts and a number of…[Read more]

Daniel 4:17This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.Not sure if the angels are referenced here as the watchers, holy ones or both.

John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was god. John 1:14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. So Jesus was the Logos. But some say that Logos means plan and does not mean that the…[Read more]
