To death___blooms, I will leave you to it. If you cannot reason with what has been said at this stage of the conversation, then it is pointless for me to go on to other things. It will only prove to be unfruitful and my time would be better spent with those who are truly searching. Maybe Nick will continue this dialogue with you, but I suggest…[Read more]

Hi death___blooms, If you look at a human eye and a camera and study them both, you will find that both use the same technology. They take light to create an image that is corrected by a brain in order to be rendered intelligible. The thing is that the camera is the creation of man and has had millions if not billions of dollars of research put…[Read more]

I read a Rick Joyner book once and he describes eagles in one of his visions and then finds out that they represent prophets. If this is what eagles represent, then it could have something to do with eagles having very good and long sight and the fact that they look from on high to down below. A birds eye view so to speak.

Adam and Eve probably had lots of children, not just Cain and Abel. Before someone cries out 'incest', we have to remember that the gene pool of the human race wasn't as corrupt as it is now. Relations who marry increase the chance of a defect offspring only because the human gene pool is corrupted and that corruption has an increased chance of…[Read more]

Our physical bodies are mainly comprised of water and our spiritual bodies of spirit I suppose. It is also interesting how water can become one and flow together. Maybe it is like that with spirit. We can become one, but we still retain our identity as our identity is not spirit. Also the Father is an identity and he is the Spirit. I think some…[Read more]

No problem if we differ here. It doesn't divide us in any way as we see eye to eye about who Christ is anyway.I personally believe it is so because Jesus is actually referenced as wisdom from God in the NT and the following verses suggest that wisdom (the concept) was given birth before time and then he (who was born) participated with God at…[Read more]

Hi James, The Logos was in the beginning with God. Also God created all things through the son.Again, Jesus said before Abraham “I am”. So Jesus claimed to exist before Abraham. But how does your doctrine and gospel compare to 1 John 4:2 This is how you can recognize the Spirit of God: Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ has come in…[Read more]

If we were to reject the virgin birth of Christ, would it matter to our faith? Are we rejecting the foundation of out faith in doing so? All I know at this stage is that it does make it possible that Christ was born in sin and that he is an offspring of Adam rather than being the new Adam. But we know that Christ is the new Adam, the new son of…[Read more]

It's amazing that the commandments of God are written in our hearts. Just shows that the same God who gave Moses the commandments is the same God who created us.I also think this is why people are condemned if they reject the true gospel. The God who sent Jesus to defeat evil and redeem us back to himself also gave us a conscience. Our conscience…[Read more]

Quote (Guest @ Nov. 26 2004,22:32)but what of those who aren't under the law of moses?do you think it impossible that a person could live according to the law of love (the law of christ) without actually hearing the gospel?Hi Nate, I tackled this one in the following writing:https://www.heavennet.net/answers/answer11.htmIt covers the gospel, the…[Read more]

Those wheels have got me. I have no idea what they are. Perhaps a form of transport or heavenly chariot with living beings inside? And saucer shaped.

Quote (WhatIsTrue @ Nov. 24 2004,13:19)Again, I will not quibble with your understanding of scripture. We obviously see things differently. You know I would change my mind if I was presented with irrefutable proof or even something that was compelling enough to make the original pale in comparision. What is your thinking that differs from mine?

Quote (WhatIsTrue @ Nov. 23 2004,15:43)Matthew 1:22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet:23″The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” –which means, “God with us.”To WhatIsTrue, Then I can only assume that the prophecy was given for a certain natural event, but…[Read more]

If 'Astro' ology is the study of the stars, then I would think that there is nothing wrong with it in itself. Just as cosmology is OK. But I think it depends on the heart. Some use the study of the stars in the place of revelation and communication with God. These people are in danger of worshipping the creation or putting the creation before the…[Read more]

A post regarding time.Albert Einstein had some interesting things to say about it. He and other scientists say that time was created when the universe was created. They see time and space as the next dimension and if they are right that could be why we find it hard to imagine. It is difficult for most of us to think beyond 3 dimensions, yet…[Read more]
