Quote (seminarian @ Aug. 18 2006,15:26)Let me weigh in here…..The Bible clearly teaches that Christ's return will catch people unawares. In other words it will be a surprise event. How is Christ's return going to be a surprise event when we are in tribulation for seven years? I mean just start counting down for 7 years to his return from…[Read more]

Of course there is a Father and a Son and Spirit. But the way the Trinity doctrine mashes them up as one being or substance is not only rediculous but it breaches scripture. There is no problem in finding verses that mention the Father, Son, or Spirit. That is by no means proof of the Trinity doctrine. The Trinity doctrine cannot be verified by…[Read more]

True.Yet it is also written somewhere that the body goes back to the earth and the spirit back to God who gave it.I wonder how that fits in?

If Hades was seperated into 2 regions i.e., righteous and wicked, then Jesus could have preached to the righteous. I heard it once this way: “he proclaimed to them the victory over death”. Then at the time of the resurrection, many of the graves were opened.Matthew 27:5252 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept…[Read more]

I agree. Often our dreams are beyond comprehension, yet at the time of the dream it is understood by our spirit/soul.I received a dream last week which came from God. He has spoken to me in my dreams many times. I suspect that he does that with many others too, even if they don't realise it.We just need ears to here and eyes to see.

Hi Oxy.I quote this from another source (not me or this website). Most people who do not call themselves Catholics but believe in the false doctrine of the Trinity fail to realize that they hold the central teaching of their mother. Even the Catholic Church itself calls them Catholic in the Quicumque Vult of Catholicism. The Quicumque Vult states…[Read more]

Yes traditions of men nullify the power of God.Traditions also stop men from testing all things.Once a man's faith is based or even influenced by tradition, then all manner of false doctrine can be accepted. But if we let scripture teach us, then we accept the following:1 John 4:1Dear friends, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to…[Read more]
