OK, it looks like we have WJ's attention.

WJ, do you admit that the Johannine Comma (a Trinitarian support verse) is fraudulent? If so, then are you open to the possibility that other verses including Matthew 28:19 could be of dubious origin? If the answer is yes, then we can discuss the evidence. If the answer is no, then what is the single biggest piece of evidence that makes you say it is…[Read more]

Quote (david @ Mar. 03 2011,14:28)In view of this, the fact that the Father, Son and holy spirit are found mentioned in the same place only once or twice is almost an argument against the trinity!Agreed.

Welcome back BTW.

Nick isn't officially gone, but he has not posted here for some time.I am still in touch with him. In fact we may to be catching up very soon as he is possibly passing through my city.

Quote Hi T8,Your suggestion is very comparable to keeping secret the criminal background of a released felon. Only if the felon is genuinely repentant, should it be kept secret!Edj.Unlike a murder for example, this situation can be fixed if those involved do the right thing. It is always better to give opportunity for the right thing first. There…[Read more]

KJ.The pastor has been treated badly in this matter. All the money is his as was stipulated by the giver. If God gives us salvation, then is that not a free gift? Will God change his mind and require that we pay penance for half our sins? The board or whomever need to recompense the pastor with the money he has incorrectly paid back.If taxes need to…[Read more]

Quote (karmarie @ Mar. 02 2011,09:04)Terra, you said to sf, “you are not a righteous person” Why did you say that? Now you say “you have shown your true colors, wisdom is not welcome to the foolish ones.”… ..what? Because he said you have a big ego.Why Terra do you say things like this? You should get a tile for that.Where is the moderator around…[Read more]

The Web is an image of humanity. A canvas that records everything about us.All our beliefs, thoughts, cravings, interests, talent, business, sport, pleasure, news, deeds, works, sins, hobbies, ideas are here.Someone once said, “I doubt that angels have a better view of humanity”.

OK, we just a reasonably big jolt here in Wellington.Thankfully it only lasted 5 seconds or so.

WJ, feel free to admit defeat with this debate.Or feel free to say you will give a reply, when you have some time on your hands.

Hey Mike.Did WJ actually answer your question in the end?Did he wimp out of this debate?

Quote (Paladin @ Feb. 25 2011,19:55)Another issue not addressed, is, do the spaces between letters have a value? What is that value. Look at the phrase “to get her” as in “We went into the other room to get her.” Compare the numbers with “We went into the other room together.” Even though the numbers may be the same, the message is not.A good…[Read more]

Like I said once to you before Stu. Next time you are mugged in a dark alley or park, ask the mugger if they have a deep relationship with God. I bet they wouldn't say yes.It is one thing to believe, and quite another to act on your belief.e.g., many people believe that we are harming the planet and may go so far as making the Earth uninhabitable…[Read more]

GMT is the middle measurement.NZST is UTC+12:00 and with Daylight saving, UTC+13:00New York is the center of the world.Hard to choose which one.

Isn't New York the center of the world?

I should add that many of the buildings that fell are Churches.Christchurch's churches have fallen. It is time for the real Church, the Body of Christ to stand up.

Yes it is a time of mourning here in New Zealand. We are so use to living without danger and tragedy which usually happens in other countries and experienced on our TVs. Now it seems that we are experiencing what others have. My wife is from Colombia and they live with tragedy all the time whether it is natural (volcanoes/floods) or man-made.I…[Read more]

Just 2 major quakes, the rest are aftershocks. There were 4000 or so aftershocks between the 2 big quakes.
