Hi cubes, Very helpful. I guess as scripture speaks of the Abomination of desolation 'standing in the holy place' that suggests that the temple and 'holy place' has to be rebuilt first?

Douary-Rheims bible reads Dan 9:27 And he shall confirm the covenant with many, in one week: and in the half of the week the victim and the sacrifice shall fail: and there shall be in the temple the abomination of desolation: and the desolation shall continue even to the consummation, and to the end.

the JPS reads Dan 9:27 And he shall make a firm covenant with many for one week; and for half of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the offering to cease; and upon the wing of detestable things shall be that which causeth appalment; and that until the extermination wholly determined be poured out upon that which causeth appalment.'

Yeshus is going to rebuild the temple which he is himself,
and we know that Yeshua is the temple by this verse Jn 2:19 Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
and by this verse Rev 21:22 I did not see a temple in the city, because the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple
anoher meaning for wing H3671 is extremity; specifically (of a bird or army) a wing, overspeading,

we make up th body(temple) of Messiah,

mybe he is saying in our Lord(temple) abominations( generally of anything contrary to the worship and religion of the Lord) will spead and continue until the time is full filled , and these abominations cause desolations

what is the history of the book of Enoch, when i read things like son of man in this book and see reference of the book in scriptures, i've yet to read it all but plan too

wow i did a search with son of man and i counted 19, and the character along with son of man i've read in the scripture.

Yeshua Is the word of God, and at Passover they eat unleaven bread , nothing added to the bread, so he wants nothing added to his word, as he warns in Matt. 16:6 , and in breaking bread he wants us to share God's word as it is , and the Holy Spirit will bring understanding ,

hello all , what you have to look at is the time of year the Passover took place from when it was first established and what it originally represent. So Yeshua tells his disciple to do this in remembrance of Him. now the following year at the passover after seeing our Lord rise from the dead at the previous Passover you know they are gonna hold to what he said.
i myself have a better understanding what our Lord is doing for us when i see him as our living passover lamb,  his blood covers us and saves us as in Ex. 12:7  Ex. 12:13.

how Passover came to be practiced on every sunday you can read Easebius ecclesiastical history, he gives some glues , they where having some disputes over Passover , one group wanted to keep it as it always had been kepted, and the other wanted to , well we see what happens every sunday.

So which celebration did Yeshua ask to be remembered by,
which celebration was he saying his body represents

on Da. chapter 9 there is so much confusion taught about this chapter, at this time of Messiah people where expecting Messiah to come , cause of what was in the prophecies , Da 9 tells when he would appear and how he would die and why he would die, and also what to expect untill his coming,

when people study the prophets they realize Jesus is the only one who fits the profile , and the time of his first advent has passed. so we believe when he said he well return ,
so we have two groups of people who are waiting his coming,
one group believes it will be his first apearance, the other group knows it is as He has said in his ministry on earth the first time, but the the unbelief of the first group is our salvation Romans explains this. mybe this is meant when said Mat 19:30 But many first ones shall be last, and last ones first.

Dan 9:27 –
And for the overspreading of abominations he shall make it desolate – This clause is remarkably obscure. כנף שקוצים משמם kenaph shikkutsim meshomem, “And upon the wing of abominations causing amazement.” This is a literal translation of the place; but still there is no determinate sense. A Hebrews MS., written in the thirteenth century, has preserved a very remarkable reading here, which frees the place from all embarrassment. Instead of the above reading, this valuable MS. has ובהיכל יהיה שיקוץ ubeheychal yihyey shikkuts; that is, “And in the temple (of the Lord) there shall be abomination.” This makes the passage plain, and is strictly conformable to the facts themselves, for the temple was profaned; and it agrees with the prediction of our Lord, who said that the abomination that maketh desolate should stand in the holy place, Mat_24:15, and quotes the words as spoken δια Δανιηλ του φροφητου, by Daniel the prophet. That the above reading gives the true sense, there can be little doubt, because it is countenanced by the most eminent ancient versions.
