“Submitting their minds“, Nick? Aren't you the one arguing that we shouldn't involve our minds at all?
I thought that's what the argument was all about: YOU saying our God-given minds, logic, and understanding are useless, and WE saying He wouldn't have given us such things if we weren't intended to use them.

mikeboll64 replied to the topic Is Jesus still a man in heaven? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 14 years, 6 months ago
No, it's not in me or in anyone else, Nick. The Kingdom of God is in heaven right now. His Kingdom will soon be on earth as well; but for right now, this is Satan's kingdom. We are to be no part of this world for that very reason.
mikeboll64 replied to the topic Jesus' Spiritual body is flesh and bone in the forum Truth or Tradition 14 years, 6 months ago
God surely gave Solomon knowledge beyond any other man. And just as surely, God intended for Solomon to use that knowledge.God may not have given any of us the great mind He gave Solomon, but surely He wouldn't give us one ounce of logic and knowledge if He didn't intend for us to USE those things.

Quote (Nick Hassan @ April 17 2012,18:49)Hi MB, If your carnal reasoning is correct? Why wouldn't my reasoning be correct, Nick? Do you have a SCRIPTURAL or SPIRITUAL reason to assume that when it says the universe was created through Son of God, it really wasn't?

mikeboll64 replied to the topic Do men ever go to heaven? in the forum Truth or Tradition 14 years, 6 months ago
Then are YOU a “morning star”, Kerwin? How about me? Or Nick? Most commentators seem to think it refers to heavenly spirit beings, such as angels. You don't agree?
mikeboll64 replied to the topic Psalms 2:7 this day i have begotten you! in the forum View Points 14 years, 6 months ago
Nick,The scripture says that the universe (ages) was created through the Son of God – the same Son God spoke through in these last days. If the Son through whom God spoke is Jesus, then the Son through whom God created the ages was Jesus. I will accept the scriptures as they are. But you feel free to tinker around with them at will, okay.
