Quote (Is 1:18 @ May 25 2011,04:24)Couch it how you like Michael, but the stark fact remains that you affirm the creation of heaven and Earth came about “through” a creature, which is a blatant contradiction of Isa 44:24 and Job 9:8.Hi Paul, It's not a contradiction at all. In fact Paul teaches that Jesus must have been the one born first out of…[Read more]

Paladin,While we're on the subject:Genesis 17:5 KJVNeither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.Does the wording “name be called Abram” mean anything other than that Abraham's actual name used to be “Abram”? Quote (Paladin @ May 25 2011,02:36)That is not scripture Mike, that is pure doctrinal biased rending of scripture to promote a point of view. “Man” is a noun; “mankind” is an adjective.1 Timothy 2:5 says “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;”Paladin, I've never argued the “men” versus “mankind” point.…[Read more]

Istari, What's left to say? You imagine that angels are “everywhere all the time” when scriptures say they come and go from place to place. You imagine the same about God, who Jesus says is “in heaven”. You imagine that a human being has the power to detain an angel sent from God on a very specific mission for 21 days – until an even more…[Read more]

It means that when Jesus said no man has seen God's “eidos”, he was talking about God's “bodily appearance”, just like “eidos” is translated in the scripture you posted.
