God cursed the Earth and it became difficult to eat from trees as he filled the world with weeds. Then after the flood a second event took place and mankind’s time on earth was reduced and it was then that God allowed eating of flesh. The Disciples said to the gentiles: eat no meat or blood.

Paul said eat whatever the heck you want.
