What is this new idea of Jesus being Vegan? I like Vegan diets but I consume meat or fish once a week.

I don’t know about Jesus being ‘vegan’ but I personally believe He was a Pescatarian (person who does not eat meat but does eat fish, dairy, eggs etc.).

We all take whatever we do out of the Bible for ourselves, and each understand things differently. I do not believe in eating dead animal flesh. And personally I don’t believe Lord Jesus did either. But that is just what I understand. I am not teaching that at all (though it is a healthier way of life!).

Ed J, No I am not saying Paul’s words should not be in the Bible. However, I do believe that not ALL of “Paul’s” books are in fact Paul. I have been researching his books lately in fact. “Spot the differences” if you can. I will say no more 🙂

Ok then, I take I take it nobody has any proof that Jesus ate meat, besides fish. As to who is right then we will find out one day. Case closed.

I do think limiting the intake of meat, for vegetables and fish is a better diet, but I don’t think it was prohibited in scriptures. Do you?

It (meat eating) does not appear to be prohibited in scripture. Then again, it may appear to many that God punishes people eternally in hellfire.

Miia…..I have a question for you, why did God command the Isrealites to eat the lamb,  on the night of the passover, and leave none of it, if he didn’t want us to eat meat?  All the way through the old Testement they were eating meat, of lambs, goats, cattle,  in all their feast days right.
