God in the fullest sense is a unity of two divine beings. One is not just divine but also became man. He cannot be limited by what is limited to someone who is just man or who is just God.
If He were just man, then His death couldn’t not take away the sins of another man according to scripture. If He was just God, He couldn’t…[Read more]

Hi Jael,
You asked:
Hi LU, can you (or anyone) explain to me what ‘a begotten God’ is?
In my understanding, GOD is one… ‘A begotten God’ would be ‘A’nother God.
In fact, what exactly does the name, title or term, ‘God’ mean?
A central truth of the gospel is that Jesus is the only begotten son of God. I believe that He really is the onl…[Read more]

Nick, you completely miss that the Son is truly a son and who was in the beginning with God the Father and was God with the Father. Together they are God of gods and Lord of lords. That One who is the Lord of lords who laid the foundation of the earth and spread out the heavens with His hands, is the same one who emptied Himself to become flesh,…[Read more]

Nick, true, the Son is not the Father, and my post doesn’t suggest that He is.
In Isaiah 8, the LORD of hosts who is the stone of stumbling is not the LORD who is speaking. He is someone other than the one who is speaking to Isaiah. The Father is not sent as the stone of stumbling, the Father is not the cornerstone of the spiritual…[Read more]

I don’t see anything from you except opinion. I have given you many scriptures that defend YHVH as two who are one, the Father and the Son. You don’t seem to have the faith to see that the Lord of lords who is with the God of gods as YHVH could become flesh, resist temptation, walk rightly, suffer and die and be resurrected (for you and…[Read more]

Peter identifies Jesus as the stone of stumbling written about in scripture. In the OT scripture referred to, the Lord God calls the Lord of Hosts the stone of stumbling. See that here:
1 Peter 2:4 regarding Jesus as a living stone.
4And coming to Him as to a living stone which has been rejected by men, but is choice and precious in…[Read more]

Third time asking this with NO answer.
Please answer the questions I have been asking. Who is identified in the OT as the Lord of the Sabbath and the Lord of all?
Exodus 31:13 “You are to speak to the people of Israel and say, ‘Above all you shall keep my Sabbaths, for this is a sign between me and you throughout your gene…[Read more]

Peter identifies Jesus as YHVH of hosts that Isaiah wrote about. The Father identifies Jesus as the YHVH that laid the foundation of the earth and that spread out the heavens with His hands.
You’re problem is not with me but with your lack of understanding these things.

Let’s put the term Godhead aside since we don’t agree on a definition. Obviously we understand things very differently.
I see YHVH defining Himself as the God of gods and the Lord of lords. I assume that you can also see that from this passage here:
Deut 10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God, a…[Read more]

Gene, the Sabbath is not a human. Jesus identified himself as the Lord of the Sabbath. I understand that there are human lords and they are different than the divine eternal Lord. Jesus IS the divine eternal Lord and is over any created type of Lord and over all creation. The Sabbath is His creation.
The Jews know that YHVH is…[Read more]

Jesus is not only the King of kings but He is the Lord of lords. The OT Jews understood the Lord of the sabbath as YHVH, you realize this right? The OT Jews also understood the Lord of lords as YHVH, you realize this too, correct? The NT identifies the Lord of the sabbath as Jesus and that the Lord of lords as Jesus. So, that means that I…[Read more]

Nick, actually my “dogma” is scriptural. There is one God and one Lord together as YHVH. Deut 10:17
YHVH says it there.
Jesus tells us Himself, that they are one.
Deuteronomy 10:17
“For the LORD your God is the God of gods and the Lord of lords, the great, the mighty, and the awesome God who does not show partiality nor take a…[Read more]

Well, your understanding of the term “Godhead” is not the same as mine. I use Godhead to mean those in the position of divine and supreme rule and authority over creation.

Does Father God have a mind of His own? Does He have a will of His own? Does He have emotions? Does He have wisdom? Does He have power? Does He exist? Does He have a personality? Does He have a soul? Does He have a spirit? Does He have a heavenly body? Does He have knowledge? Does He desire relationship?

I said:
They are two different beings and together they are the one God, YHVH in the fullest sense. YHVH is both, the Father and the Son, the God of gods AND the Lord of lords. One is seen in the OT and NT and one is unseen.
Then you responded with:
The flaw is your reasoning is that it introduces the broken teaching that Jesus is…
