The presence or existence of the Son is why God is Almighty AND Father.  The Son has always existed.  The Father has always been Almighty.Without the Son, God would not be Almighty or Father, imo.  The Father is Almighty only when the Son is with Him.  The Son is always with Him, the Son is eternal too.  Thus, the Father is always Almighty.
