Mike,Who would Jesus the High Priest intercede for after He presents His bride to His Father…after all judgment? He could always be the High Priest but this role would probably be unnecessary I would think. Quote So Jesus the Priest of God will subject himself to Jesus the God?Jesus, in His High Priestly role, would subject the reign of the High…[Read more]

Mike,Satan is god of this word in a sense…not as the creator, not as an inherent position by nature, but by permission from God he has been allowed some reign with restrictions for a designated time. God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ together with their Spirit have always ruled over the kingdom of heaven and always will.Quote Why does…[Read more]

Mike,Rev 11:115Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” 16And the twenty-four elders, who sit on their thrones before God, fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17saying, “We give…[Read more]

Mike,I have not studied this to the nth degree but I believe that it is likely the kingdom of the darkness that the Son, according to his High Priest/Mediator role, was given reign over and He destroyed the powers of that kingdom so that the only kingdom that remained was where God (as a unity of Father, Son, and their Spirit) was always…[Read more]

Charles,Col 1:15 mentions that the Son is the Firstborn and firstborns must be begotten in order to be firstborns in the normal sense of the word. Begotten can certainly mean born, did you not know that? The other instances when someone is not technically the first to open the womb but takes the place of the actual one that was the first, in those…[Read more]

Charles,I don't believe that your theory is supported by scripture but by imagination. See here:Col 1 15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. 16For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been c…[Read more]

Buy it sounds like it is funny, and I'll take your word for it that it is.

Hi Charles,I agree that the Son was most likely brought forth when God said, “Let there be light.” I do not agree that satan fell before that happened though. I don't believe that anything was formed before then including angels. Darkness is merely the absence of light. Thanks for your response though.Blessings,Kathi

Ok, guys, what kingdom is being spoken of that Jesus hands over…there are more than one mentioned in scripture. Please back up your answer with scripture. Thanks!

Hi BD,Again, thank you for responding. you said:Quote Once again you say God lacks nothing and I agree, therefore if God lacks nothing it also means he does not need to have offspring.Ah, but our perspective is so limited. Perhaps God lacks nothing because His only begotten offspring and His Spirit have always been a part of Him and within Him…[Read more]

Well Mike, it works for me every time. Maybe you need to try again. Did you see the 'Sorry' card? After that, the card closes and a man playing a piano starts singing to you personally. It is really bizarre!
Lightenup replied to the topic God Given Revelation? The Nature of Creation in the forum Truth or Tradition 14 years ago
BD,Thanks for your response.Since God is all powerful, He can have an eternal offspring within Him if that is part of His perfection. He is perfect and lacking nothing. you said:Quote Why would God need an “offspring” and who would he make this offspring with and if He would make it by Himself again what would be the point ince God could create…[Read more]

Quote (seekingtruth @ May 07 2012,04:52)Kathi,Sorry I've been very busy. Yes, as the laws that govern our reality came into play, God was manifested, not as a creation but as a result…[Read more]
