Bo, it indicates that one is the unbegotten God and the other is a part of that unbegotten God as the offspring. You cannot worship the unbegotten God without worshiping the begotten God also.

    you asked:

So Jehovah is more like an office like Christ?

I would say that Jehovah is an always existent entity.

So Melchezidek and Jesus also share a office/priesthood?

No they don’t share an office/priesthood but they both were a king and a priest, a priest in a way that did not come from their lineage. Jesus was from the tribe of…[Read more]

The unity of the two persons of Jehovah is represented by the singular pronoun “He/Him” in some contexts. The church is like this also. There can be many churches in an community but ultimately they are a part of the one church in which Christ is the Head. The church is even called ‘she’ as in a singular noun, even though it is made…[Read more]

You asked for evidence of Jesus being prayed to:

    Acts 7:59

They continued to stone Stephen while he prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit!”

    Also, you asked:

Regarding your “no other theos” statements you seem to miss the point: Jesus said that there was only ONE TRUE THEOS and The Father said HE is THE ONE GOD and there is NO…

Well hello Bo, I hope you are doing well!

How is Jesus as theos different from others who are called theos (other than the Father)?

The disciples prayed to Jesus and none of the others who are called theos (other than the Father).

No other theos (other than the Father) can forgive the sins of mankind.

No other theos (other than…[Read more]

My answer stands as is. If you think that there is only one true unbegotten God who we call the Father and only one true begotten God whom we call the Son, then just say that you agree to that. If not, then show me how you disagree and why.

I have to call this one out. You do not believe that the Father is the only true God. You believe that he along with Jesus is.

But this one true God spoken of here sent his son.

You clearly do not believe this important scripture and truth that is eternal life.

I believe the Father is the only true unbegotten God and the Son is the only…[Read more]

    you said:

If Jesus is Wisdom, then he was brought forth and previous to that, wisdom resided in God as an attribute of God. But just as important is that when wisdom was brought forth, it did not take away from the wisdom that God has. The same line of thinking was espoused by a number of early church fathers with respect to logos. One fire…

It is very interesting to me to see how John 1:18 is so alarming to those who admit that Jesus is called theos as the Word in John 1:1. The early church fathers testified to the Word being called ‘God’ and that the Word was God the Son who became flesh from John 1 and was ‘wisdom’ that was begotten before things were formed on the earth from Prov…[Read more]

    I used the NASB.
The phrase “who is in the bosom of the Father” seems to indicate a position of intimacy but I am not sure.

Wisdom, logos, life, love, charity, mercy, truth, and light are attributes of God. Sometimes they are spoken of in a feminine sense when referring to God’s own attributes.

So when the God of the living begat Wisdom, he became the workMAN at God’s side.

So the point is yes, God became a Father.

He “became” a father to the Son of Man who had a beginning in Mary. He always was a father to the divine Son before the cosmos.

    John 1
1In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2He was in the beginning with God. 3All things came into being through Him, and apart from Him nothing came into being that has come into being. 4In Him was life, and the life was the Light of men. 5The Light shines in the darkness, and the…[Read more]

As you admit, Jesus is a theos and God the Father begat Him. Why do you deny that God the Father is the Father of the theos who is the Son?

It is rather simple to accept that the one who beget a son is the father of what that son is.

To know who Jesus is seems to be essential to having eternal life. I’m trying to help you know Him. Since…[Read more]

“YOU ARE MY SON, TODAY I HAVE BEGOTTEN YOU”?
As we have gone over and over, a begettel of a son does not imply the beginning of an existence of a son. A begettal can simply mean ‘to bring forth’ as in birth. Even you existed as a living being before you were begotten from your mother.

And again, “I WILL BE A FATHER TO HIM AND HE SHALL BE A…[Read more]
