When Simeon said: “mine eyes have seen thy salvation” was he wrong? “YES” or “NO” ?
no, he was not wrong

Ed,
Your question is too vague.
Hi Kerwin,
Was Jesus the savior of Simeon AT THE TIME Simeon seen him,
even though Jesus had NOT died on a cross for Simeon’s sins ? …“Yes” or “No” ?Ed J replied to the topic Was Jesus Christ born in Bethlehem or born at the Jordan? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 9 years, 7 months ago

Jesus was most likely no even conceived when Simon was given that promise.
What reason/s do you have to offer this speculation? Do you have any?
It is not speculation since there is evidence that infers (hints) that Simeon was made the promise before Jesus was conceived
OK what are your reasons then ??? I’m not following what you are…[Read more]

@Ed,
When Simeon said: “mine eyes have seen thy salvation” was he wrong? “YES” or “NO” ?
(1)The Christ is the promised Christ because Jesus was most likely no even conceived when Simon was given that promise. The word promise is inferred from the context just like with other instances of Scripture.
The same is true of salvation.…

Hi Miia,
But this thread is about how God’s name (יהוה) transliterates into English
as YHVH. That is because there is no “W” sound in modern Hebrew
and that there never was a “W” sound in ancient Hebrew either!Do you have anything relevant to say about THIS TOPIC?

Hi Miia,
Are you trying to suggest that 666 (in the book of Revelation)
is somehow connected to the internet (World Wide Web)?…if so, perhaps you should start a thread on it and
I’ll explain to you why that idea is all washed up____________
God bless
