He is also the Truth and the Life.
Did God forget that too?
Or here’s an idea. Could it be that God didn’t mention all his names in that particular verse?
Hmm.
Thank you for your honest answer!

So the Word of God is not Jesus Christ.
That’s right…
Jesus said:”The Word” which ye hear is not mine, but the Father’s which sent me” (John 14:24)
My words are me.
Are your words your son?
Sorry T8, I’m not buying it. It’s very messy and illogical. The picture you paint is full of holes.

Hi T8,
Then expose the holes

And the sword of the Spirit is also the Word of God. So both the Spirit and the sword of the Spirit is the Word of God.
Here you’re disagreeing with what you know to be true. How so you might ask?
1. We know “The Word” is riding on a white horse.
2. And asword is coming out of the mouth of “The Word”
3. And we know the sword of the Spirit is…[Read more]Ed J replied to the topic in the forum The Holy Spirit, a separate person, essence of God, or force? 4 years ago
So the Holy Spirit will come on a horse, not the son of God.
Bingo!

Why is it that some people cannot answer a simple yes or no to a fair question? Matthew 5:37 gives us the answer:All you need to say is simply ‘Yes’ or ‘No’; anything beyond this comes from the evil one
One way we know that a person’s answer is from the evil one is when they cannot answer a simple and fair yes…

Isaiah has a rather lengthy list, but unfortunately:
“The Word” isn’t on the list of His name being called…(Isaiah 9:6) “For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given:
and the government shall be upon his shoulder:
and his name shall be called:1 Wonderful,
2 Counsellor,
3 The mighty God,
4 The everlasting Father,

Hi T8,
Gene and Jodi are playing semantics.
You say he is, and I say he isn’t; period!
But Gene and Jodi want it both ways.He isn’t the word of God but his name is called the word of God ???

For those who think that America and Trump are chosen by God – lol, is all I can say.
I remember when @miia said this.Hi T8,
She doesn’t believe the bible’s message concerning this…
“But the judgment shall sit, and they shall take away his dominion, to consume and to destroy it unto the end.

Okay that is all good. But I thought you were saying elsewhere that the Holy Spirit is the Word of God.
Hi T8,
The Holy Spirit is the Word of God.

“The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.” (Psalms 68:11)
In the context of this verse it is apparent that God gives the orders and others repeat and follow them.
But there is a greater truth to this verse as well (previously shown)
The greater truth is: “The Word” (God gives) is “The Bible”!

HolySpirit is GOD: The Father of Jesus Christ
Hi T8,
According to Luke 1:35 The HolySpirit impregnates Mary, making the HolySpirit Jesus father…

and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy
thing which shall be born of thee…[Read more]Ed J replied to the topic JOHN 1:1 who is the WORD? in the forum Scriptural Teachings 4 years, 1 month ago
It says he is “called” the word of God
Where does it say that Gene?
Because I never seen it ???EDJ…..REV 19:13, …..and he was clothed with a vesture, dipped in blood: and his name is ““CALLED” , “The word of God”.
Hi Gene,
That is talking about God’s HolySpirit, not Jesus.

Or
Is there one specific question you want me to answer.
And then I will in turn ask you a question?____________

Hi Gene,
If you believe that, then you need to smudge this verse out of your bible…
“Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit of Christ which was in them did signify,
when it testified beforehand the sufferings of Christ, and the glory that should follow.” (1 Peter 1:11)The bread from heaven (Christ) being born in the house of bread…
