No Nick, you should definitely reach for a Bible.

Nick, do you know the difference between an interpretation and a literal meaning?
If I said I had a footstool that has three pillars would you contend that it had three people, leaders or daughters that held it up? Or might you conclude that it indeed had three actual pillars? Would I then call you shallow for your conclusion? Of course I…[Read more]

T8: “Gravity is a law, so that is nothing with respect for an actual thing like a rope or cable hanging the earth. Try to think of God as a lawmaker and his laws are his word. He spoke creation into being, I imagine that has something to do with laws of which he also has moral laws that too need to be respected. And if you rubbish the Law of…[Read more]

T8: “So why fight to convince people that God’s creation is smaller than what discoveries point to, when today’s increased knowledge shows us a creation that can only be made by an eternal being. Even Atheists are in awe at the universe, its size, precision, and spectacular phenomena. All Flat Earthers are going to convince people of is som…[Read more]

T8: “The Flat Earth is the experience that God gave us of living on Earth. But knowledge increased as it is written that would happen and consequently, we see that the framework of creation comprises of spherical planets including Earth held in orbits around suns by gravity and all wonderfully made.”

T8: “Gravity is a non-tangible thing right?”
Gravity is part of your theory, please tell us if it is a tangible thing or not. I won’t hold you to this challange very strongly because I don’t believe that anyone has identified exactly “what” gravity is.

Nick. “Men know more than God? You flatter yourself if you think you speak for God.”
Didn’t you just say that men by observing nature can know about the creation? If those observations are contrary to the written Word, which is what we have been pointing out – but you are arguing with us, then are not men neccessarily saying that they know…[Read more]

Nick: “Has not God rather chosen to reveal His nature through the wonders of creation?Rom 1.20 f Are you not limiting His revelation rather to what is written and frustrating His plan?”
Are you suggesting that He hates it when we take Him at His Word? That would be a radical position to me.

Well, Nick, I feel sufficiently warned.

Nick, why then am I upholding Scripture and you seem to be upholding the teachings of man?
The Scripture says that the sun has a circuit that it goes forth and that it runs its race but you hold to the teaching that the earth moves around the sun. Who is hearing the words of men?

Gene: “Mike….Tell us who said this, “destory this “temple” and in three days (I) shall raise “it” up. That could not have been Jesus saying that because he said he was “dead” and the dead can’t raise themselves. So it was God the Father speaking through the very mouth of Jesus that said that. Scripture also says it was God who raised Jesus from…[Read more]

T8, you said that “high air pressure is stronger than low air pressure or space“.
Can an you back up that claim? Because I have been told that even high air pressure is no match for a strong vacuum (which is what “space” is). Again, we have seen this demonstrated on a thick metal railroad car with a mild vacuum!

If it air pressure were the same density all the way up, then the vacuum w…[Read more]

Mike, I love that video about the map! It just goes to illustrate how we have accepted things that were taught to us, as we should have, but have not been allowed new discoveries to refine the old paradigm.

So you’re saying that the force of gravity is stronger than the force of a near perfect vacuum?
Here’s the scenario; the earth’s atmosphere is denser the lower you are. On the surface it is the most dense, and the higher you go the less dense it becomes.
This lesser density of the atmosphere is juxtaposed to the greatest vacuum, greater than…[Read more]

Not only that Ed, but as you go higher in elevation the atmosphere would have to rotate faster because of the greater circumference. Not only that but of the way the atmosphere stays in contact with the earth is by shear force then the heat would also increase. Shear force is kinetic energy which generates heat. This heat would have to go…[Read more]

We’ve all heard of the legendary Southern Cross. It’s possible to view it from the Northern Hemisphere if you’re in Hawaii, or south Florida, or south Texas.
Here’s an interesting video on star trails. I can’t say it happens this way but it makes sense.
