In reference to post #944977, one word is all you need and that is “zera”; I have been over this word before and is a reference to descendants, one who is procreated, something produced after it’s own kind. This is the term used in the OT to reference who the Messiah will be, the seed of David. In other words in the lineage of David…[Read more]

@Gene,
First verse, Jesus explicitly stated to those he was speaking to would never finish going through the towns of Israel before he returned. What are we to make of Jesus’ statement and why no response to this verse? What Jesus stated is a little hard to take in considering at the end of the book of Matthew Jesus says to them to go into all t…[Read more]

@Gene,
Additionally,
You still haven’t explained why I need Jesus when God said to repent, turn, and you sin is remembered no more. When did God add now having to go “through HIS son” to be forgiven? You also haven’t addressed any question from post #944944
Have another verse(s) for you to explain Matt 10:23 “And whenever they persecute you in…[Read more]

@Gene,
You: “Jesus’ “life”, was poured out “by God the Fathers Will”, to demonstrate, I say “DEMONSTRATE”, to us all, what kind of “life”, it takes to please God.”
Me: Explain what kind of “life” did Jesus demonstrate we are to live that is pleasing to God? If it’s just obedience, that’s nothing new – that’s OT. By obeying God’s commands…[Read more]

If Jesus is conceived of the Holy Spirit, then he is not of the “seed” of David, and therefore is automatically disqualified as being the Messiah. Now what?
You: “NO MAN NO SPERM! GOD DOESN’T NEED THAT FILTHY SATANIC STUFF!”
Me: Are you saying God’s design and creation is filth!!??!?!?
Are you going to “Hail Mary full of grace”; ho…[Read more]

@Gene,
First, no response to post #944944 directed to you? Would love to hear your thoughts on those questions.
Second, please enlighten me to the definition of “iniquities.” I was using words from two different translations.
Third, you keep saying Jesus isn’t required for the forgiveness of sin and you ask where did Jesus ever say this:…[Read more]

Isa 59:2 doesn’t explain why I need a Messiah for salvation. This verse states it is sin/iniquity that separates us from God. Nowhere does it state because of this separation we need a Messiah to get back to God. God said to repent, turn from your wickedness, and your sin will be remember no more. Since sin will separate us from God, all…[Read more]

you: “Such obvious contempt for God and His ways. yet he can post in the believer’s section?”
me: Obviously you don’t read the left side of your bible, I am simply repeating what is there. Since you are unable to answer questions, I will spare both of us the trouble and tell you to start reading the prophets.

@Danny,
Can you show me in the OT where it says I must believe in the Messiah for salvation?
Better yet, explain how Jesus can be the Messiah since he was conceived of the spirit and NOT from the seed of David. This actually poses a problem, because either the spirit did conceive the child in Mary and therefore Jesus is NOT of the seed of David…[Read more]

@Danny,
Apparently God is the one who has “denied the son”; I’m just reading God’s words in the OT.
So I guess I’m in the clear.

In response to Post # 944770
Absolutely we read of God’s forgiveness to the Israelite’s; but don’t forget it wasn’t just to the Israelite’s, it extended to the other nations and people too. Wasn’t it God who said the HE delights when the wicked turn from their ways? And when the “wicked man” turns from wickedness and does what is just an…[Read more]

You said in post #944790, “I need to return to the sheep fold, where I belong”; what “fold” did I leave that I’m now not apart of? Do I not belong to God or do I only belong to God thru Jesus?

Both Matthew and Luke record, Jesus’ daddy is the spirit; so how is Jesus of the tribe of Judah? Tribal lineage comes from the father. If not conceived of Joseph how is Jesus of the seed of David?
Now the real question. How is Jesus the Messiah when according to the OT the Messiah was to be Jewish AND from the line of David? Think Jesus missed a…[Read more]

Have another verse that needs an explanation and why I would need the Jesus.
Isa 55:7 “Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.”
