I didn't read this thread, but the experiment was tried with monkeys once for a while. What they got was several pages of the capital letter “S”SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS….Although it has been proposed that you could come up with Shakespeare with randomness, monkeys aren't random. And they seem to like the letter “s”
