“The kingdom of Christ is ALL OF CREATION…”–terriccaMaybe you meant that the kingdom will rule over all of creation. But the kingdom is not itself “all of creation.” None of the scriptures you listed show that the kingdom is “all of creation.” If you think any of them do show this, please explain how. It will affect all creation. But it is…[Read more]

Quote David………..Tell me this , Why does Jesus offer up the Kingdom to GOD at the end of the thousand year period then if that kingdom is already the kingdom of GOD, and why say that GOD may be all and in ALL If it were His Kingdom already then why make that statement? It can said to be God's kingdom because he is over it, he set it up, he…[Read more]

For YOU know this, recognizing it for yourselves, that no fornicator or unclean person or greedy person—which means being an idolater—has any inheritance in the kingdom of the Christ and of God.–ephesians 5:5So, what does it mean, the “kingdom of the Christ and of God.” Does not this more than strongly imply that they are the same kingdom?

terricca, look up the word kingdom in a dictionary. And then explain how what you said makes sense. We can't ignore the fact that words have actual meaning.

Regarding Gene's post above, who here thinks that Rev 3:21 points to 2 kingdom? Is there anyone here other than Gene that gets that from this scripture?(The other two scriptures listed, I just have no idea how they relate to that idea.)Gene, who make up these separate kingdoms? Who are they each composed of?

Something else:God's commandment was “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it.” Noah was a “righteous” man. Is 3 children in 600 years being fruitful? I sense a mystery.

Quote Third, you say there are two “kingdom” one the kingdom of Jesus and the other the kingdom of God. Please provide some Biblical proof for this. Anything. Gene, regarding this idea of yours, if there are two kingdoms, and if after the 1000 years, Jesus hands over the kingdom (presumably his kingdom) then does this mean God has 2 kingdoms at…[Read more]

Hi Gene. First off, you were right– about it being people that that verse was referring to. I should have spent more than one minute looking at it.Secondly, you were wrong– with your ad hominim type attack because I didn't even say what JW's believe! So please stop the ad hominims and let's logically discuss scripture.Third, you say there are…[Read more]

Quote And so far, you've offered no insight into the fact that the men in chapter 5 seem to be aged when they begin begetting offspring. Or none into the fact that Noah was 500 years old without children. Or the fact that his sons were all pushing 100 years old without children.I find this very bizarre.Mike, have you looked at any others in the…[Read more]

Hi Gene. It's the 4th post on page six of this thread. I gave a rather long comment on the “within” you verse. As far as I can tell, all normal logic suggests that “within” is a mistraslation. Please see the actual post and any comments would be welcome.

This is crazy. Ya, Noah was 500. He had the 3 sons. (apparently only the 3 sons.) 100 years later, still only those three sons I guess, because they are the only ones on the ark. Bizarre. And Noah got to be five hundred years old. After that Noah became father to Shem, Ham and Ja′pheth. If he had children before being 500 why weren't they on…[Read more]

Quote Noah was 500 years before he had any children. And we know this because Shem, Ham and Japeth seemed to have been his ONLY children. Either that, or the “many” children he begot before Shem just died in the flood, and apparently Noah wasn't too upset or worried about all these dead children of his.But Noah had these three after he turned…[Read more]

Quote This doesn't specifically say that Methuselah didn't already have many children before Lamech. But it would be pure speculation to assume he DID have other children.
