Would you say it is fair to say removing the name of God from the scriptures and replacing it with “Lord” 7000 times is corruption?

OH THE HUMANITY!

These Christians want you to believe that not only God NEEDED a Human Blood Sacrifice of an innocent person. that right there would be enough but these people want you to believe that it was necessary to TORTURE the SACRIFICE.

Plus they believe God doesn’t care about His own laws

Exodus 13:13–16 Every firstborn of man among your sons, you shall redeem.

Leviticus 22:24 KJ21
Ye shall not offer unto the Lord that which is bruised, or crushed, or broken, or cut; neither shall ye make any offering thereof in your land.

Now there is no escaping these facts these are God’s Law so you cannot fulfill the Law if you break the Law.

This look like a serious issue that you people should consider

“Has anyone ever thought why it went from animal to human sacrifice?” perhaps because a human is actually a greater sacrifice than an animal, especially a firstborn son which the Canaanites, including the Hebrews all practiced to seek the blessings of God.

It is unlawful to sacrifice a firstborn son they were to all be redeemed

When Adam and Eve “realized their shame” they covered them selves with fig leaves. When God came along he covered them with animal skins. So the official first sacrifice of an animal for sin was done by God himself. Then it become the norm.

Has anyone ever thought why it went from animal to human sacrifice?

God says two things that prohibit the idea of Jesus dying for the sins of people 1. God hates Human sacrifice God calls it an abomination and 2. God calls shedding the blood of the innocent an abomination

The scriptures don’t have both carrying the cross ever. John says Jesus CARRIED his cross period and the other 3 Gospels say Simon carried the cross there is no scripture that has this scene of them carrying the cross together or Jesus being too injured to carry it himself ALL OF THAT IS MADE UP, RIGHT?

Miia……Of course I agree that Jesus is a MAN and not a god, where did I give you that impression that I though otherwise….And you are right Muhammad is not a mediator why would he be if Jesus reconciled man to God? there is no need for a mediator if a settlement has been reached

You must not understand that all those terroristic Mexican gangs who kill at an alarming rate surpassing any Islamic terrorist are Christians the Majority of Gun violence in the world comes from America who are predominantly Christians now you could pull the “those are not real Christians card” but anyone can play that game, do your homework

@T8 if you don’t believe God is a male but is a Father what prevents God from being a Mother? Wouldn’t be more of a truth that God transcends duality?

These were just sayings that people use to say Pagans often referred to themselves as sons of divinity the Quran is aware of this:

Surah 18

4And to warn those who say: Allah hath chosen a son,

5(A thing) whereof they have no knowledge, nor (had) their fathers, Dreadful is the word that cometh out of their mouths. They speak naught but a lie.

The Jews call ‘Uzair a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah’s curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth!

( سورة التوبة , At-Taubah, Chapter #9, Verse #30)

You can look in history yourself it was very popular to say these types of things but even God Himself makes one thing clear:

Psalm 82:6-7King James Version (KJV)

6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.

7 But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.

The reson why this issue is so important is because trinitarians make special pleading out of the term son and even most Christians try to declare a SPECIAL Sonship for Jesus when there is no Scripture that shares that view whatever is said about David is said about Jesus in regards to being BEGOTTEN and sonship so there is nothing that should cause someone to only capitalize “Son of God” when it speaks of Jesus

@T8 God doesn’t have a gender and nor is he an actual Father God is your Creator and my Creator HE LIVES FOREVER and therefore need no Descendents nor has HE Ancestors His sovereignty does not wax and wane it is Absolute…All His creations are subject to His blessings and His punishments I have never read anywhere where Christians and Jews are exempt from punishment or from Hell, no it is always the persons conduct, Obedience and Faith that saves them from the wrath of God or brings blessings Jesus himself said that about non-Jews in his day…. Matthew 15:21-28 New International Version (NIV)

21 Leaving that place, Jesus withdrew to the region of Tyre and Sidon. 22 A Canaanite woman from that vicinity came to him, crying out, “Lord, Son of David, have mercy on me! My daughter is demon-possessed and suffering terribly.”

23 Jesus did not answer a word. So his disciples came to him and urged him, “Send her away, for she keeps crying out after us.”

24 He answered, “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.”

25 The woman came and knelt before him. “Lord, help me!” she said.

26 He replied, “It is not right to take the children’s bread and toss it to the dogs.”

27 “Yes it is, Lord,” she said. “Even the dogs eat the crumbs that fall from their master’s table.”

28 Then Jesus said to her, “Woman, you have great faith! Your request is granted.” And her daughter was healed at that moment.

So the whole Idea that you have to be a Christian or a Jew is just their own special pleading it is not scriptural

Hi @942767 If you think about what you just wrote you seem to completely that Jesus called sinners to repentance for the remission of sins. He even was baptized for the remission of sins…I believe he was baptized for the remission of sins as a proxy for all those who believe in him because otherwise there would be no reason for him to be baptized as he had no sin, this would also make no crucifixion necessary as you know Islam reports that Allah saved Christ Jesus from being killed or crucified…….There is never any idea in the Old Testament that the innocent blood of a man is valid for sacrifice God even calls it an abomination and a pollution for any innocent person to be killed and Jesus agrees saying: Matthew 12:7
But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless…….and notice it says “I WILL HAVE MERCY and NOT SACRIFICE” there is not a question there it is clear there that God was not going to have sacrifice but that’s what you believe and that’s okay but for a certainty Jesus was not killed or crucified and the bible shows speculation and doubt….John has the crucifixion happening on another day than the others he has it the day before the passover and Mark has it on the day of the Passover and they have different times as well john has Jesus being crucified while others have him in front of pilate at the same time so there is conjecture and speculation so the Quran says “For a CERTAINTY they KILLED him NOT. Jesus even said before he was arrested that he was FINISH with the work God gave him to do in John 17 and in the garden he said “NOT MY WILL”

Tarraricca, Islam has nothing to do with Catholocism it is strictly against the trinity or calling Jesus God or for that matter even a son of God, if it were to be like anything it would be similar to Judaism which is actually what Jesus believed in.

It is not translatable it is actually the Word itself it doesn’t even have a plural so in arabic there is no such plural for Allah no “Allahs”

I have no problem with your statement but there is no reason to insists that Salvation is only through Jesus because salvation was before Jesus even Jesus said it in a parable:

Luke 16:29-31King James Version (KJV)

29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

As you can see hear Jesus is placing himself alongside the other Prophets as he would be “One who rose from the dead”……plus if he talks about past prophets there is no reason to preclude there would be no future Prophet/s

First of all, the way this word is written is Hebrew is mhmd. That happens to be the EXACT same was Muhammad’s name is written in Hebrew. Let’s look at the spelling of this word…

It has four characters. Going from right to left they are…
Mahmad

Now, when writing in Hebrew, there is no difference between the word mahmad (Mahmad) and Muhammad (Muhammad ). The only difference is in the vowels used when pronouncing this word (Mahmad). Hebrew is an ancient language, and there are no vowels. It is made up of 22 consonants. In ancient times, the reader decided on his own which vowels to add in. It was not until the 8th century that vowels were introduced, in the form of dots and lines. However, this has nothing to do with real Hebrew. The word mahmad (Mahmad) in ancient times would most likely have been pronounced “mahamad”.

According to Ben Yehuda’s Hebrew-English Dictionary, Mahmad is correctly pronounced “mahamad” (not mahmad) which is very close to Muhammad.

Ben Yehuda’s Hebrew-English Dictionary defines “Mahmad” as “lovely, coveted one, precious one, praised one”. The correct way to say “praised one” in Arabic is Muhammad, so this is the same word!

As was stated before, the name Muhammad (Muhammad) and the word mahmad (Mahmad) are spelled exactly the same way in Hebrew, and both have the same meaning. The only reason they are pronounced different is because of vowels (dots and lines) introduced in the eigth century.

The Hebrew word for praised one is
Mahamad

The Hebrew word for Muhammad (the Arabic Prophet) is
Muhammad

In conclusion, if Songs of Solomon chapter 5 is discussing a man to come after that time, it is without a doubt Muhammad, as it even mentions his name. Any Christian who believes Jesus is the Messiah, and believes that books were sent down by God after the TaNaKh (Jewish Bible), then surely they should take into account what they just read here, and consider the Qur’an before making a decision.

Isaiah 29:12King James Version (KJV)

12 And the book is delivered to him that is not learned, saying, Read this, I pray thee: and he saith, I am not learned.

According to Islamic tradition, during one such occasion while he was in contemplation, the archangel Gabriel appeared before him in the year 610 CE and said, “Read”, upon which he replied, “I am unable to read”. Thereupon the angel caught hold of him and embraced him heavily. This happened two more times after which the angel commanded Muhammad to recite the following verses:[5][6][7]

“Proclaim! (or read!) in the name of thy Lord and Cherisher, Who created-
Created man, out of a (mere) clot of congealed blood:
Proclaim! And thy Lord is Most Bountiful,-
Who taught (the use of) the pen,-
Taught man that which he knew not.”[Quran 96:1–5]
