Paul was an apostle. That is what apostles do. And yes congregations are valid, but the point is that congregations and churches are part of the Body of Christ. There were no denominations.

That concept is valid, but it cannot be used to justify the denominational system we see today. The Church congregates together, and one part of the Body sows seeds and reaps another part of the body, thus some guidance would be in order.
