Okay, regarding quoting posts. The bane of the last forum platform was it encouraged lazy quotes and whole threads became quotes withing quotes within quotes which I rarely read. But when not abused it was a great feature. This platform doesn’t have this feature and I am guessing because of this.

what does b-quote do

It indents text like as follows:

asdasdasda
adasdasdasda
adasdasdasdasd

You can apply it multiple times to increase the indentation.

At the moment, edit is open for 30 minutes. I can change this, but I think it is good to have a time limit. 30 minutes seems like a reasonable amount of time to fix mistakes.

I suspect you missed the last step, “crop image”. Once you have selected the image and uploaded it, it then asks to crop it. This is so you can take any photo and then select your face rather than having to use something like Photoshop to do the cropping.

Yeah, I am leaning toward that one too.

The site is much faster as it is on the new server. Apologies for the downtime. I am in NZ and domain propagation seems to happen last in New Zealand. So while you could see the new server, it took me another 12 hours before I was seeing it.

The toolbar had a quote option, but it obviously caused problems for you Mike, so I will research another toolbar that I can plug in.
So for now there is no toolbar in the forums.

I thought it would quote too, but replying from a post actually is appended to the bottom of the feed without the post quoted. I can set the forums to have 1 or more levels deep in which case that behavior would be different because it would append under the post as a sub-post and if the levels were deeper then sub-posts of sub-posts would be…[Read more]

Further, when you click on “Forums” on your member page, you can also view all your forum replies.

On your members page where people can Message you are a bunch of links regarding your activity on the site. Click the heading called forums and it will display every forum you have started.

You should be able to see the word Reply above every post. You can hit that, and it should quote the post for you. Also, I added in a toolbar now. But will look around for a better one.

When you are in a forum say “Sorting Truth and Tradition”, you can create a new topic at the bottom of the page.
