Sounds like you are copying stuff from another webpage. If so, that code is coming from there.
Or it could be that you need to paste into Visual mode or text mode. Try the other mode in other words.

EdJ, you can actually create a Youtube link at the current time. Just right-click the video at the exact part you want others to see and choose ‘Get video URL at current time’.

You can now make posts in visual mode so you can see the formatting you implement on the text. There is also a Toolbar Toggle button which shows another toolbar where you can colour, indent, and underline  your text with ease. You also have a paragraph and headings button.

If there are unread posts in a topic, a linked > symbol will show up next to each topic title in the forums. Click that to go to the last read post and you can then read from there.
If you have read the last post in a topic, that link will be absent.

To embed a video, just copy the URL or address of the page that the video is on.
e.g.,

Place the cursor on the words Heaven Net in the toolbar at the top left.
A link to Dashboard will appear.
