It is made very clear that Satan was Lucifer who sinned and then became Satan, the devil, or whatever other name you want to call him. But it is not just in the mind of Humans. He is a Spirit being, like all other Angels are. He just became bad, along with 1/3 of all other Angels that went with him. Irene
